Edelweiss Chalet, STEAMBOAT’S NUMBER ONE LUXURY RENTAL, is great for vacations year-round. You can ski-in/ski-out in the winter or golf and hunt in summer. Our 8000-square-foot chalet is exclusively located just 60 yards above the Thunderhead high-speed quad lift providing stunning alpine views through 88 separate windows.
Edelweiss Chalet exquisitely accommodates up to 24 guests. Our home features seven master suites each including a private full bathroom. Each room has luxurious feather bedding and cozy European-style comforters. These bedrooms are equipped with cable TV and two phone lines. Bedding configurations include four king-size beds, two full-size beds, five twin beds, three queen sofa beds, and two twin sofa beds. There are ten bathrooms, including the seven master bath suites.
The chalet is equipped with a COMPUTER CENTER, including a DELL PC with HIGH-SPEED INTERNET access, a printer, and a fax machine. This is located on the main floor for your personal and business needs. WI-FI HIGH-SPEED INTERNET ACCESS is available throughout the chalet.
We have what is truly considered to be a gourmet kitchen. This exquisite kitchen is equipped with Viking, Kitchen-Aid Architect Series, and Scotsman appliances for your own personal chef or the gourmets in your group. It is finished with natural oak floors, cherry cabinets, and imported customized granite countertops and back splashes. No matter where you are in this gourmet kitchen, you will enjoy views of skiers on the upper alpine runs and our spectacular alpine scenery.
Our gourmet kitchen features four gourmet work stations:
Gourmet Work Station Number One features an island with its own European double sink, a Kitchen Aid dishwasher, preparation space, and a 48-inch Kitchen Aid refrigerator freezer.
Gourmet Work Station Number Two features our baking center which contains its own sink, work space, and two double convection self-cleaning ovens, as well as, everything you need for preparing culinary delights.
Gourmet Work Station Number Three is the Viking six-burner cook top area with pancake griddle which has a six-burner gas grill (just like Emeril's on the food network), as well as, spice drawers, and utensil drawers. Additionally, this area is fully stocked with Italian and German cookware.
Gourmet Work Station Number Four features a double bar sink with its own built-in Scotsman ice machine and Kitchen Aid dishwasher. The cabinets and drawers in this work station contain champagne flutes, wine glasses, tumblers, and the utensils to create fabulous drinks and hor d'oeuvres.
Full-catered chalet packages are available, including personal chef and transportation. Individual services are also available. Services include (but are not limited) gourmet catering, excursion set-up, massage therapists, pedicures/manicures, food stocking, childcare, personal ski/boarding instructors, and personal jet service.
Our spacious great room offers spectacular views of the Steamboat ski area. At the end of the day, relax by the fire while the alpenglow lights up the ski area and the mountains before you.
Our first level offers a large recreation room complete with a sports bar, Kitchen Aid built-in ice machine, Kitchen Aid refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. There is also a regulation pool table and a 70-inch big-screen home theater with surround sound giving sports lovers and movie buffs a front row seat. Just outside the glass doors is an eight-person deluxe hot tub with therapeutic massage jets offering you the chance to soak away the exertions of the day.
