This relaxed location is equal distance from both the ferry landing and the village of Eastsound… only a short drive in either direction. The spacious two-story, 2500 square foot house is on five acres of open field and pond. Wildlife viewing of bald eagles and deer and remarkable Turtleback Mountain sunsets offer a welcoming return after a day exploring the San Juan Islands. The first floor offers a modern kitchen that will meet all your cooking needs. A spacious dining and living area with a woodstove invites guests for a cozy stay. There are three bedrooms on the first floor; two with queen beds and one with a twin trundle bed. A full bathroom hosts a deep tub and nicely tiled surround with a view of cedar trees. The covered patio outside the kitchen is a nice place to drink morning coffee and watch the sunshine fill the valley. On the second floor a stunning panoramic view of Turtleback Mountain greets guests from the wraparound deck. The deck is complete with outdoor furniture and a gas barbecue grill. A decorative bamboo floor stretches through the dining and living areas and two bedrooms. The large fireplace warms the living room for comfortable evenings. The upstairs kitchen accommodates a second family’s needs or serves as a wet bar for afternoon drinks on the deck. The two upstairs bedrooms each offer queen size beds and full bathrooms. Washers and dryers are available on each level. Sleeper sofas are available for extra guests. A host of indoor games and visitor information about the San Juan Islands is included for an enjoyable stay.
