Great time in Carpinteria

My partner and I visited the central coast in October for his birthday. We stayed a few days in the Santa Ynez valley and then headed for the coast. We decided to stay in Carpinteria as it seemed like a quiet little town. To our pleasant surprise, we discovered upon arrival that the annual Avocado Festival was taking place a block from our condo. We thought it might be hectic and noisy, but the organizers did a great job of minimizing upset to the neighbourhood. We had great fun at the festival and one day took the Amtrak train into Santa Barbara, as the station was only 3 blocks from the condo. Condo seems brand new and well appointed. Only negative is a fridge that seemed to run constantly and air conditioning that we couldn't quite figure out. Other than that, we had a great time and would recommend this property to others looking for a nice weekend getaway.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

Stayed at the apartment mid-June, just walking in to the grounds we were impressed, the complex is kept up so wonderfully. Upon entering the unit we were amazed how cute and well kept the unit was. It had a small living room with a couch and plasma. The kitchen was nice and modern with all the tools you'd need to cook. The bedroom was adorable and we loved the bathroom with its rainshower faucet. The location of the unit is amazing its in the center of town and you can walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. We had a wedding in Santa Barbara and it took us 15 minutes to get there. We fell in love with the apartment and the city of Carpinteria. Look forward to another weekend getaway. Only thing we'd have loved more was if the bed was a KING.

My husband and I loved our stay! What a stylish, well-kept, and relaxing place...and so close to the center of town! It was great to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. We look forward to returning.
