Quiet and peaceful is how most of our guests would describe the wilderness setting of our modern two bedroom cabin along the shores of the Totogatic River. In the heart of the St. Croix National Scenic River Way our cabin is within 15 minutes of eight different access points on both the St. Croix and Namekagon Rivers. Paddlers also choose to launch from right in front of the cabin and ride the Totogatic River current until the Totogatic River terminates when it joins the Namekagon.
The St. Croix National Scenic River Way is a wilderness river with no man made development and very little public access. Our cabin is the only building, besides our home which is several hundred yards away, for miles and your only neighbors will be black bear, wild turkey, and grey wolves.
Our cabin comes with canoes and kayaks and is a great spot for adults or adults with children who enjoy paddling, hiking, and wild life viewing.
The St. Croix National Scenic River Way offers anglers opportunities for fast small mouth bass action, quality walleye fishing, and a chance at a trophy musky. The National Scenic River Way is a federally maintained park with beautiful campsites complete with picnic table, fire rings, and pit toilets for overnight campers or a picnic lunch or fish fry.

Originally from the suburban Chicago area I moved to NW Wisconsin August 1, 1991 after accepting a teaching and coaching position in Grantsburg Wisconsin. On August 2nd I floated the St. Croix National Scenic River Way and caught about 50 fish mostly small mouth bass with a few walleye and catfish. After fishing from a canoe for over a decade I purchased a western style drift boat which was trucked to Wisconsin from Idaho. Floating the St. Croix National Scenic River Way is an absolute pleasure and is something every outdoors person should experience. Come fish the St. Croix or Namekagon Rivers or just enjoy the current floating in a canoe or kayak.
