"Acorn" on the beach of Lake Ontario - Finger Lakes Vacation Cottage Enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Ontario from your front porch. Enjoy a side view of Sodus Bay from the living room. Come to relax, fish, walk the beach or play in the water. NY State park lands are nearby for hiking and enjoyment. My sister & I grew up here and we welcome families with children of all ages. Bring along your own canoe or boat and explore the lake & bay. You can also rent a row boat from one of the local bait shops. A dock is available for you to tie your boat up to. If you bring your own boat, you can launch it at many of the local marinas. Fish from the beach or from the rocks under the bluff. Although the "Acorn" is directly on the beach, parking is close and you can walk to your car at your convenience. Payment accepted by credit card, Pay Pal, or by check. Come, bring your swim suits, food, have a bon fire, watch the sun set & enjoy this scenic retreat. Just let us know when.
