Welcome to Punta Arena 1E. Our home is a rare combination of a newer executive calibre home (by Canadian and American standards) intergrated into the heart of an authentic Mexican beachside town.
You will not find a home any closer to the beach or with better pool and beach access than our home. You can literally throw a stone from the inside of the livingroom into the ocean.
Almost the entire "ocean side" of the home opens up with rectracable sliding glass doors so that the deck becomes an integral part of the living and dining areas. The deck is a fabulous 60' long and will be the focal point of your holiday. It is outfitted with 2 chaise loungers (with cushions), a sofa, 2 lounge chairs, 2 "pub" style tables with stools/chairs, a gas BBQ and more.
Although our unit is on the 1st floor the balcony is elevated about 9' above the pool deck and lounge area and the views are absolutely unobstructed (except for the odd palm tree). The pool and lounge areas are almost right underneath you and you can easily converse or watch family members either in the pool or at the pool deck from the balcony. Our unit is the only unit in the 30 unit Punta Arena complex that allows you to directly access the pool and ocean off your own privaate balcony. Security is provided by a private stairway complete with lockable gate.
Our home is very well furnished/outfitted and contains many items (and quality) not usually found in a rental/vacation property. The overall feel is that of a quality hotel. The kitchen and entire home is well stocked and lacks nothing. The furniture in the entire home was custom made and is rich, comfortable and practical. The towels, linens and bedding are all very good quality. Mattresses are all top line Sealy pillow-top. All three baths feature body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers as well as hair dryers. Guests will have access to our private storage room which contains lots of little extras that we hope will make your holiday the best ever including: 3 adult uni-sex full suspension mountain bikes, 4 boggie boards, surf board, floating pool loungers, volleyballs, soccerballs, badminton rackets, pool umberlla, beach umbrella, and lots of kids and adult beach /pool toys.
Our home is unique that both of the "master bedrooms" have absolutley unobstructed ocean views and direct access to the deck making it a great property for 2 couples both wanting a "great sleeping room". Both master bedrooms have; king beds, full ensuites, TVs with "Starchoice", mini split air conditioners, and lots of closet space. The 3rd bedroom features a great child friendly bunk bed and a king bed that can "split" into 2 twins.
Music and TV is provided by "Starchoice". DVDs or Satelite TV can be enjoyed in surround-sound. For those who need/like to communicate we have a great home office with; computer with internet access, wireless internet for your own laptop, a fax/printer/scanner/copier combo unit, a local phone, and a IP Phone with unlimited incoming or outgoing calls to Vernon BC. For other areas we have "Skype" internet phone service for unlimited long distance calls.
Although our home features 5 remote controlled "mini split" air conditioners it was designed with flow-through ventilation and stays very cool without any air conditioning. By simply opening both the ocean and the "rear" windows the ocean breeze keeps each of the 3 bedrooms and main living/dining areas cool.
The beach is what you want; safe, sandy, and longer than what even the most aggressive walker/jogger could hope for. The surf varies from occasional "surfboard" waves to the usual norm of mild "boogie board" waves to quiet swells. The water in front is shallow, sandy, and perfect for kids.
Common amenities include an infinity edge pool, spacious lounge and social areas, BBQ area, well equipped gym, poolside showers, poolside washroom, and 2 stairways from the pool deck down to the beach. Although crime is extremely low the property has 24 hour security, remote controlled vehicle gates and locking/electronic pedestrian gates. 1 parking stall is provided with your accomodation but with the great location a rental car is not really required.
We purchased a 3 bedroom unit for our own family but would prefer to rent at a reasonable or reduced rate to guests who may under-utilize it. Our goal would to use our home most of Dec and then find a few guests (and build relationships with them) who would return each year so that after the first or second year we would never be looking for new guests. We would be very accommodating owners but will have zero tolerance for guests who are not honest with the number of occupants who will be in our home. We will discount our rates substantially for smaller groups with longer stays. Please call or email for a rate.
If you have already been to the Bucerias area then no introduction to the charm and attributes are required. Punta Arena and our home is located 1 block south of the town center and at the south end of "Restaurant Row" It is 2 properties south of the "dry gulch" and the "pedestrian bridge" to the markets and town center.
If you are not familiar with Bucerias it offers the very best of the Bay and the PV areas. You could stay a month and eat every meal out and never go to the same place twice. A great meal and a Corona at an ocean side restaurant can stil be had for under $10.00. All the groceries you require for "dining in" can be obtianed at the local markets just a short walk away but if you are not that adventerous you can shop at WalMart, Costco, Sams, and Mega.
The accomodation is everything you would want and the the location is perfect for experiencing all than Mexico has to offer right at your doorstep. Bucerias is a great place and this is perhaps the finest unit in Bucerias. We hope you can enjoy our home for your holiday.

Does it get any better than this? We've travelled extensively and this place is perhaps the finest. We own a luxury cabin and rent it out as well. It's nice to show up to a vrbo rental and have the owner obviously care as much about his place as we do ours. We've been coming to bucerias for 20 years, and it's amazing how little this place has changed. Very charming with great restaurants and the perfect laid back vibe. When combined with this luxurious unit, a vacation doesn't get any better!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

We were lucky enough to have this beautiful Condo recommended to us by another traveler who had stayed in the building. Upon arrival we were thrilled at the beauty of the area and the luxury we were about to spend our vacation in. The condo was even better than we imagined. The area is like you would expect Mexico to be. Tons of really great restaurants. You couldn't possibly get to each one. (I dare you). Quaint little cobblestone streets and the odd open bar. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and family. We already have. Take the Quads for a ride to the tequila factory. Lot's of fun.
