Spectacular Accomodations!

We stayed here in January 2010 and were extremely pleased with everything in the home, as well as everything that Big Sky has to offer! We were 8 adults, 2 children, and an infant. Everyone had his/her own space to spread out, and no one ever felt crowded. The separate "apartment" was perfect for the couple with the infant, as late night feedings and such did not bother anyone else. The home's decor is very tasteful: comfortable, with many luxiorious touches. The kitchen is a chef's kitchen; complete with an amazing Wolf covection range, wine cooler, two sinks, plenty of pantry/cupboard space, all cooking utensils provided. It is not a large kitchen, but big enough for 2-3 people to be cooking.prepping and not feel crowded. Both den areas are large and accomodating. Bathrooms are hotel grade, with walk-in showers, spa tub in master, and radient heat in the floors. Beds are comfortable and fairly new. Pickup and drop off of the keys was easy and speedy. We used "Black Tie" for our equipement rental. They bring it all to you for not much more $ than you pay renting from the resort. Both children and adults used Big Sky's ski school. I was a first timer and was very pleased with the quality of instruction. Was comfortable on greens by the end of day 1, blues by end of day 3. Big Sky had a lot to offer as far as food, as well as some decent shops. Went to the spa at Moonlight Basin, which was nice, but nothing too spectacular. I went at an "off time," pretty late in the evening, which might have had something to do with it. Also, we took a day trip and went snowmobiling in Yellowstone, which was amazing!!! I highly recommend that outsde trek! Big Sky was a great choice for us, and if you are considering it you won't be displeased. The only downside to this property is, while it is ski-in/ski-out, it is relativley flat terrain to the nearest lift. Be prepared to pole for 10 minutes before hitting the downhill to the lift.
