Our cozy mountain home is a perfect getaway to enjoy all that fall has to offer. Enjoy the seclusion and privacy amid the turning leaves and soft autumn light. Cozy up with the wood burning fireplace at night with a cup of hot apple cider! The walking trail around the lake is only a 5 minute stroll from your getaway! Nestled among the pines, the home enjoys autumn breezes and a quiet location right off a main road for easy access.
Four bedrooms (one is a loft), and two baths, located in a quiet, expensive neighborhood with plenty of privacy. Our tri-level cottage is completely updated -- with two large decks great for enjoying the peaceful serenity of pine trees in complete privacy - no neighbors looking at you or for you to look at.
From the moment you walk in the front door, you'll be greeted by a professionally decorated haven with Mission style furnishings. The home is completely private and on a large slope surrounded by pines. The access road below provides a lovely nature walk, less than a 5 minute stroll to the Lake trail and the exercise area at the new fire station.
Amenities include a portable (rolling) A/C, a wood burning fireplace for cozy evenings, Direct TV, VCR, DVDs, iPod dock, stereo, phone, washer/dryer, deck with barbecue and patio furniture, and full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.
Sleeps 7 in beds. A queen air mattress is available for an extra guest. Parking for 3 vehicles off main road, and one 4WD vehicle off access road below. Only a short driving distance to Lake Arrowhead Village and the beach clubs at the UCLA conference center and at the Resort.
Master Suite on first level has a queen bed and updated bath. Bedroom two on main floor has a double bed, CD player and Direct TV. Bedroom three on first level has a twin bed, cozy papason chair a VHS TV player. Loft bedroom has two twin beds, Direct TV, and CD player.
Home comes with fresh towels and beds are made up and ready for you with fresh linens and plenty of cozy blankets. Paper products, soaps, spices and supplies are here to make your stay a home away from home. Our professional cleaning crew has home clean and ready for you before your visit and does the cleaning for you after your stay. Up to 2 small house trained dogs are allowed at this property. No smoking is permitted on property. Not handicapped accessible.

Hi! Vern, me and our five kids - Britani, Katie, Robert, Michael and Bevin -- (and little dog Daisy) welcome you to our weekend getaway! We're from the Lemon Heights area of North Tustin and we both work in the healthcare industry. We love hanging out in Arrowhead with the kids at the beach club during the summer and during the winter we use the house as a home base for our skiing and boarding weekends at Big Bear. We just adore the mountain climate, the super nice people and the relaxed lifestyle. We hope you enjoy it up here just as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Arrowhead
As a child my family had a cabin in the Sierra Nevada mountains and we just loved it. We wanted to give our children the same experiences. We thing that the mountain lifestyle is so nice, the great people, and the ease of being able to just be yourself. There is so much to do here and its all so close to home, yet a world away from the hustle and bustle of OC!

So incredibly close to everything, yet so private! We are a 10 minute drive to the village, just 1.5 miles from Blue Jay and a 5 minute stroll to the Lake trail. Its a perfect location -- around beautiful houses and on the West Shore area. The neighborhood is gorgeous, and the trails are safe and lovely. Its just perfect!
