About a hundred yards to the beach, this house is a great family vacation retreat. There are Queen beds in the 2 Master Bedrooms, 2 rooms with 2 twins (we push them together with multiple adult couples), a Queen pull-out sofa in the basement and a kids room with 2 sets of bunk-beds. We've had 6 adults and 8 kids stay at with us.
The kids retreaed t to the basement for movies and games while the adults hung out in the upper living room. The kids ranged from 3 to 10 and they helped take care of each other, from the hot-tub, to the pool to the beach. We went to the beach in the morning, came back for lunch and hung out by the pool in the afternoon. The 100 yards for drinks, snacks and potty breaks was a breeze.
Don't waste your vacation time stuck in traffic jams and check out lines. The Food Lion is two blocks away, the Harris Teeter 2 miles away. Souvenir shopping, putt putt, malls with cinema and game areas are two blocks away. This house is conveniently located to help you maximize your time so that you can unwind, enjoy your family and friends, and the relaxation that the Outer Banks offers. We have enjoyed this house on two occasions with as many as 6 adults and 6 kids and have always enjoyed our stay. The top floor offers a large gathering area that will accommodate all for meals, and the two additional floors offer plenty of "breathing room". Everything has always been clean and in good working order. The outside space is equally impressive with a large main deck, a large pool deck, crows nest to watch the sun rise and set, and a hot tub in its own gazebo. The other beach houses in the development are very nice. We've made some good memories there and look forward to more!

We have thoroughly enjoyed this house for 6+ years-- as a family of four and also as a great vacation for three families of four. Any age will find something for them, whether it's the beautiful beach, the hot tub and pool, a quiet retreat, the multiple porches, or crazy fun in the basement living area. The location is perfect-- only steps to the beach and a quick trip to the store. The pool and hot tub are great for toddlers and teenagers-- plenty of room in the house to "get away" when necessary! Nice upgrades to furnishings have been made over the years-- you can tell that the house is loved and enjoyed. Very comfortable and relaxing! Thank you for helping our family to create many positive memories over the years-- we look forward to many more good times :-)

Plenty of room for multiple families including children. When you've had enough salt water, the pool and hot tub were very refreshing. Great views from the porches and crows nest. The access to the beach was incredibly convenient. Very clean and well maintained. Can't wait to go back!

Awesome house! we go every year - always clean and very well maintained - my favorites of this house include: love that this house has 2 master bedrooms, very spacious, hot tub/pool, widow's walk is great for views day and night - very relaxing for evening cocktails, 1st and 2nd floor wrap around porches are fabulous (including covered porch on 2nd floor off kitchen - great for lunch for wet kids from the pool), HUGE dining room table so everybody can eat comfortably... great house, PLENTY of room in a great location!! you'll have a wonderful time!
