Rates include both Mountain High and Creekside! Charming, recently renovated MOUNTAIN HIGH sits approximately 3000 ft. above sea level, borders the National Forest and is easily accessed right off a paved road. The gated driveway is lined by tall Hemlocks, Oaks, Poplars, and wild Rhododendrons, winding up to the house and guest house/gameroom. Tranquil and private, there's plenty of space for the kids to romp and play! Hardwood floors, stained glass, stone walls, antiques, a window wall, stone fireplace (gas) are just some of the unique features in Mountain High. The recently renovated fully equipped kitchen(all new appliances w/ dishwasher) opens conveniently into the dining area where a large oak table looks out on the forest and hills. Comfortable beds with luxury bedding are a priority! On one side of the house are 3 bedrooms, 2 with new queen pillowtops (guest suite has attached bedroom with daybed and trundle). Off the hall between is 1 full bath. A comfy futon in the 4th bedroom and 2nd bath (with washer/dryer on the other side of home) makes an ideal family setup...sleeps up to 8. Outdoor provisions at Mountain High include a deck, flagstone patio, picnic table and gas grill. Across the driveway and down a few steps, the campfire site beckons the fireflies and eager children waiting to play in the creek or roast marshmallows. 50' from Mountain High is the new CREEKSIDE guest house/gameroom w/ covered screened deck overlooking the creek - 25'X30'"great room" - PERFECT GATHERING PLACE FOR THE YOUNG AND YOUNG AT HEART TO enjoy activities from board games and pool table to rocking on the porch while listening to the gentle relaxing sounds of the creek...new fully equipped kitchen, full bath, washer/dryer, 42" HDTV with home theater...very comfortable queen sleep sofa, & 3 minute inflatable queen air bed both with luxury bedding - this space sleeps 4. Porch includes outdoor dining and gas grill. 2,500+ sq. ft. of indoor space combined - Mountain High and Creekside. GREAT HIKING for miles - scenic views at every turn through the Nat'l Forest right out the door! Although smoking is not permitted inside, the decks provide both convenience and a sand bucket for this activity. Pets will be considered on an individual basis with a $85 non-refundable per pet fee. WE SUPPLY: paper goods, linens, towels, a fully-equipped kitchen, microwave, toaster, crockpot, coffee maker, condiments and spices, salt, pepper, and delicious well water! All you need to bring is your food! Food stores - ten minutes; Biltmore House, museums, malls, state parks, fishing, golf, horseback riding, antiques, and crafts, - all within 30 minutes.
