Why the Owner Chose San Clemente
Just a fabulous little hamlet by the ocean. Not pretentious and very laid back. This is not your typical "OC". A short stroll to the famous Ole Hansen pool/community center. Another longer stroll from North beach around the corner on the new Beach Walk Trail to the Pier and then up Del Mar to downtown. Many new wonderful restaurants and shops. Equal distance to downtown LA and downtown San Diego. Just does not get any better if you want to chill at the beach.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Sun, surf, sunsets, fine dining, a zillion places to go and things to see from LA to San Diego. It will take many, many vacations here to experience just a fraction of what is available along the different Pacific Ocean and slightly inland communities of Southern California. San Clemente is right in the middle of it all without all the fanfare of Newport Beach, Marina Del Ray or Malibu.

My name is jeff M lewis and I am a professional photographer and artist. I have studios in three different states and vacation rentals at those locations. In San Clemente, CA my studio is in the same 1929 building our Vacation Rental. My works are displayed and sold at several Galleries in California, Idaho and Colorado. Disney Resorts commissioned me to produce several large works for their Paradise Pier Resort next to the original Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA. The new Sheraton Resort in Carlsbad, CA commissioned a work for their beautiful new ocean view lobby next door to LegoLand USA.
San Clemente is an artist's dream. It is a great little beach town!!
My wife, Debbie, is an interior designer and has owns her business, Off the Beaten Path Interior Design. She specailizes in high end interior looks $$$$$$$ for any size budget. She has created her business on the premise of creating high end designs using expensive pieces purchased very inexpensively. She has built a reputation for saving her client's $$$$$ while giving them the quality and look they wanted.
We are inspired by the beach and the life style of San Clemente. It is unique and special.............. There is no other Southern Ca. beach town like it.... friendly, laid back, and full of charm of the 1920's Spanish Revival Style!!!

The location, photos, and amenities listed in the ad were accurate. The place is well kept and clean. Owners have good communication for any needs. I would recommend this property to anyone. I stayed for a month while working close by and had no issues.

WE ARE SO HAPPY THAT WE CHOSE YOUR APARTMENT! THE KIDS LOVED WALKING TO THE BEACH EVERYDAY AND THEY LOVED SEEING THE TRAIN AT THE BEACH! THEY WAVED TO IT! Had the pleasure of renting this place for a month. Had no idea the quaint little town of San Clemente was just up the road. Easy access to beaches, I-5 and Pacific Coast Highway. I especially enjoyed the outdoor area off the kitchen. Lit all the candles and listen to the occasional windchimes. I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. Thanks Deb for your creative design and thanks to Jeff for sharing his photographic artwork!

Hi Deb and Jeff, After a long day yesterday we made it back to Iowa. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay at your beach house. The location was so close to the beach and we loved that. Your place was so cute and had so many unusual and fun items that everyday we kept finding new things! We couldn't take them in all at once. It was so nice and really exceeded our expectations! Spent a month at this little gem .. great central location making it a snap to walk to the beach trail for evening sunset walks, yoga and swimming at the community center 2 blocks away and easy access to lots of eateries, coffee shops and even downtown for those who love to walk. Comfy bed and garage parking a real bonus. Neighborhood nice and quiet at night. Owners very helpful and responsive, thank you!

We spent a wonderful month in the Artist Loft Apartment in 2011 and will again in 2012. The pictures and descriptions were very accurate; beautiful, clean and close to so much. Close to the beach path, bakery and restaurants in the quieter North Beach area of San Clemente. The owners are creative people, warm and very upbeat. They are the type of people you would enjoy entertaining in your own home - and this rental reflected all of these qualities.
