HOME DESCRIPTION: We would like to present this approximalely 3,000 square foot home that was built in 2006, and has a separate mother in law. This is ideal for groups that have multiple families and requires complete privacy, down to the kitchen. The location of this home is convenient, as it is only about 4 miles to downtown Seattle and most "must see" tourist locations including Pioneer Square and Pike Place Market. Even though the home borders the heart of the city, it still is relatively private, safe and sports a view. Other close by conveniences includes restaurants, bus stop (approx. 3 minutes walk), Safeway grocery and the Light Rail System (approx. 7 minutes walk to station)that goes from the Seatac airport to the core downtown district. There is also ample parking which includes two cars in the garage and six more directly in front of it.
For accommodations there are 7 bedrooms and 3.75 bathrooms. The main kitchen is wrapped with stainless steel appliances including a electric stove, Corian countertops, ceramic tile floor and beautiful hickory cabinets. The hickory wood theme continues into the floors in both the family and living room and is absolutely gorgeous. All five bedrooms are spacious but the master bedroom is huge, offers two recliners, the second cable TV and a king size pillow top mattress. The second, third and fourth bedrooms have queen size beds with the fifth bedroom having a full size bed. Please note that the sixth bedroom is a family/bedroom option with a queen size sofabed, and has a privacy curtain to give you FULL privacy when closed. There is also a queen sofa bed in the living room. All three bathrooms have sliding glass doors for the tubs and Corian vanity tops.
The 500 sq ft mother in law has its own separate entrance and is completely private from the main home. There is one bedroom with a queen bed, a full kitchen, a ¾ bathroom , the third TV with cable/dvd player, a queen sofabed and lots of windows for natural light.
Home layout is structured with the kitchen, living room, master suite/master bath, the second bedroom and the second bathroom on the second floor. The bottom floor hosts the third bathroom, three other bedrooms and the garage. The garage has an automatic garage door opener and can accommodate two cars with room to spare. The mother in law is a little lower than ground level.
Outdoor entertaining is enjoyed on a wood deck that is very private and sports a 5 burner mega grill(100% stainless steel). Propane is provided.

This home was as described and is within walking distance of the light rail system (we used it to get to the Seahawks game and to the Pier for dinner). We had a group of 8 and it fit us perfectly and there was room for more! The owner was great to work with, I highly recommend!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had actually rented another property from the same owner. When there was a problem with that unit he immediately notified me and set me up in this house. Our family enjoyed our time here. It is close to the light rail and very easy to reach all of the major attractions. It would be nice if the house did have some type of blinds in the main living area as it did get rather warm in the house during the day. We just happened to be there during the warmest weather in years according to the weatherman. We had a great time in Seattle and being able to all stay in one spot for an extended period of time was very nice. The house was just what we needed. Thank you for getting us in there at such short notice.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This house was large and allowed for plenty of space to spread out. It is close to Seattle, but not walking distance to anything, so a car is a must. It is only 15 minutes from the airport, which is very convenient, We were a smaller party (4 adults and 2 kids), so half the bedrooms went unused- but you could easily fit 10 people. The house is located near some sort of commuter train, so you will occasionally hear a train going by, but it is for the most part very quiet and relaxing.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We loved our stay in this home - very spacious and comfortable. After a long day of sightseeing, it was so nice to be able to come "home" and have a beautiful, cozy place to relax. We especially appreciated the large kitchen/dining/family room space that made it possible for our large family of 17 to be together and not feel crowded. The management is a pleasure to work with - very professional and accomodating.

My family gathered from around the country in Seattle for my sister's wedding and this was the perfect way to accommodate both the wedding plans and a wonderful family "reunion" in a very comfortable and spacious environment.
