Nearby Bank Street beach is the popular family town beach in Harwich. The warm waters of Nantucket Sound are great for swimming. The local Bay beaches are vast tidal flats: A great place to explore and view many creatures of sea and shore life, such as moon snails, hermit crabs, starfish, and horseshoe crabs.
