The manor is immersed in the property's orange plantation, which constitutes the main agricultural activity of this century-old family farming activity. The host is lovely Silvia, expert gardener and cook. She provides a bed and breakfast service in a large portion of the master wing of the property to all those who long to enjoy and appreciate the simple pleasures and rhythms of the country.
The familiar dimension guarantees an experience that is far from touristic stereotypes and profoundly humane, in touch with the ancient refinement of Southern hospitality.
The property is located next to the town of Carlentini, at less than an hour drive both from Siracuse (40Km) and Catania (30Km).
The warm climate, typical of the Sicilian hills, makes this location enjoyable year round. The surrounding areas are brimming with renowned archeological-cultural sights such as Catania, Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa, Modica, Caltagirone, Palazzolo Acreide, Pantalica as well as with natural paradises, ideal for daily excursions, such as Vendicari, Valle Dell'Anapo, Foce del Simeto, Laghetti di Cavagrande and the Natural Park of the Etna Volcano. The sea is only 15km away!
Besides the bed and breakfast service, Silvia can also prepare lunch and dinner with local organic products for extra charge. The meals range from vegetarian style to meat and fish based platters that can be enjoyed in the inside dining room or outside, in the manor's wide court.
The accommodation has an independent entrance and is made up of one double bedroom with bathroom, a spacious living room and a studio with a convertible single sofa bed. The rooms are comfortable, furnished with antiques and kept warm by large burning fireplaces.
