the setting is serene and beautiful. the house wonderfully decorated, but very comfortable. loved the sound of the brook bubbling thru the yard and soaking in the hot tub under the stars. Our small family reunion used the fully equipped kitchen to create some (lots! ) amazing meals........to share around the big table. This was a central place for us all to meet from N Ca, to Alaska. Jim and Shoshanna are wonderful hosts!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A perfect family vacation

This ranch was perfect for our family vacation. We were two couples with an 18 month old son and a 7 year old boy. Everyone loved the tennis court as well as just playing by the stream. The house is very comfortable and great for just hanging out but the best part of our stay was the welcome from the owners. Jim took the boys riding on his horse and taught is how to rope a steer! The quad bike rides were also a big hit.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We love your place! It was so great to have a crib and high chair for Q. It made raveling so much easier and enjoyable. We visited Smith Rock ~ it was gorgeous~ & had fun touring the Deschutes Brewery & eating at the Tumalo Feed Company. After the hard work of hiking, eating & drinking the hot tub was much appreciated. Than you for your hospitality's, we hope to visit again. Aurora Oregon GUEST BOOK.

Aug 31 2010 - GUEST BOOK Me & my husband are really glad that our friends brought us to your house. We visited a couple of places in the USA, but so far this is our favorite spot!!! Shoshana, We had a great stay. Wish we could say the same about our golf games! Your place is wonderful. Next time I will bring my Mules and Fly Rod, ~Milt Shoshana & Jim, What a fabulous place you have here in the NW. What a pleasant change from 100' + days in Plano Texas. We had the most wonderful time here at your ranch! It was the perfect Vacation for our family! We loved playing in the creek, the hot tub and the basket ball court. We so much enjoyed the Ranch. The Kids loved feeding the horses, us adults enjoyed games, bbqs, great food and relaxing. The ranch had everything we needed and then some. we enjoyed & will be back. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place. We liked Chris from Fly & Field Outfitters, Nicest, patient teacher.

Thank you for the wonderful " Home Base" for the Portland and Hawaiian Continent's of the K and H wedding. We all decided this is Heaven on Earth_ the Horses, the Dogs, Kitties, Views, .. My family and I stayed at this property. All I can say is that we are definitely coming back. We have been looking for a ranch style home and found it in this property. I was beautiful! Perfect for children, with tennis court, basketball hoop, a creek running through the property, horses, and best of all, BUNK BEDS! My wife and I truly enjoyed the surroundings and want to tell you that this is the best vacation we have ever experienced. It is such a calming and soothing place to be. I recommend this property! It is a must stay if you are in Bend, Oregon. The property managers Shoshanna and Buck are amazing people! JET Tanner USA Cycling Coach for JETCycling

Hi You Guys! Had a great time. ( Just wish the weather had been a bit more "Bend -Like") Thanks for everything. A great time was had by all. Grand-son loved throwing his boats and balls down the creek & catching them with a butterfly net. Hiked Black Butte Twice. Once in the snow, Once in the sun. We'll be back, maybe my sisters can make it next time. Thanks again for sharing your home and the generosity of allowing us to stay on one more night.

Family Gathering from three other directions, meeting spot " At The Ranch "! Tri Cities Family came, Richland, a world Chef, Italy , Morocco, Spain, Mexico, Boise. Both the Cooking and the conversation were a feast!, naps on the green grass by the creek in the warm afternoon sun and the massages were a real plus ! Everyone had a fabulous time.

Thank you for having this wonderful home available for us. We enjoyed every aspect of being here. For me being away from our ranch it was nice to get my daily horse fix. The kids enjoyed the Tennis and B Ball court ( after the snow melted ) I am taking home many decorating Ideas. Oh yes we cant forget our feathered friend from the wood stiove, he is now free! ( and hopefully clean ) Many thanks the C Family. We will see you again. ( bird flew down the chimney ) is now out...

Wow!!! What a great stay we had, eight days, 2 families, tons of kids. What a beautiful home you have. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
