The Van Bert log home rests on a secluded 18-acre ridge and DIRECTLY borders the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.
Part of the Station Camp development of Wilderness Resorts, this cozy retreat boasts a variety of attractive features, including the largest pond of any lot in the development, a huge stable designated for Van Bert guests, a 6-person hot-tub overlooking the pond, and a sizable, ideal recreation/party area perfect for cookouts, reunions, parties, or any other social gathering. At this home, you won't have to worry about traffic or noise as you would at comparable developments in Tennessee (such as one would find in Gatlinburg) - this is truly in the wilderness, though still conveniently located so you don't go wanting for shopping or restaurants!
This vacation cabin offers a commanding view of one of the most beautiful ponds you will ever see, complete with a well-constructed rustic dock, and if you like to fish then you have come to the right place! Fully stocked with large mouth bass, blue-gill, crappie, and catfish, the water is also great for swimming and a boat is provided at no extra charge!
A spacious and elegant 12-stall stable allows guests peace of mind that their horses may be comfortable too! There are also two turnout paddocks in the case that you have more than 12 horses, or if your mount needs a little more room to stretch while you relax at your cabin. Located behind the stable, a large outdoor-recreation area, complete with grills, tables, chairs, and roofing provides an ideal area for groups to socialize.
Directly bordering the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area means you never have to drive or devote your precious vacation-time in order to immerse yourself in this gorgeous protected environment. Whether you love to hunt, fish, swim, hike, canoe, kayak, climb, or just relax in the mountains of beautiful East-Tennessee, it's all in your backyard at the Van Bert log home! |
