This property is located in the Rancho Santana Development, a gated community in Salinas. The area is beautiful and relaxing. If you want a vacation to escape from everything, this is the place.

Walk to the beach or pool for some sun, have a cocktail and watch the sun go down. Then have a fresh fish dinner caught right off the rocks. Walk home and see millions of stars light up the sky.

We love coming to our casita with our daughter. Its her favorite place. The house is set in a spectacular view setting away from crowds and busy cities. You can go hiking and hear howler monkeys in the jungle surrounding the development. The sunsets are exquisite and its just a very short walk to the beach.

There are two pools and a club house with a restaurant serving delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It is also a very short access to many beaches such as Playa Rosada, Playa Escondida, Playa Dorada, Popoya, Colorado and Bahia Gigante. If you surf, you want to stay at our casita.

The Nicaraguan people are kind and wonderful. We know you will enjoy yourselves and feel safe in the country.

Daily maid service and linens are provided. Laundry service additional upon request.

  • My husband and I loved our stay in your Casita! It was so nice to return home each day to a clean, safe and comfortable environment. My husband enjoyed surfing within Rancho Santana, in fact we had friends staying at a surf camp nearby (30 minute drive) but almost every day they boated in to the same breaks that we were able to drive and walk up to! The restaurant and bar were wonderful to relax in. We miss our freezing cold Tona (tonya?) beer now that we're back home in Hawaii. We were able to use our laptop to connect to the internet just outside the casita for free, so that made it easy to keep up with work while having fun. The kitchen had all that we needed. We'll be back!!!

  • We stayed at the casita in July to surf. The location was awesome since you can walk to a nice beach break at Playa Santanas and short drives to Playa Rosada and Colorados. It was nice to be able to come back and nap in the AC after surfing all morning. The maid took care of everything from dishes to linens and even prepared some food on occasion. The restaurant and Bar at Rancho are convenient and resonably priced. Another restaurant Yolandas is also a great option and is located right outside the entrance to Rancho. Popoyo is a short drive (30 mins) and offers more surf and places to eat. Highly recommended.

  • My boyfriend Dan and I stayed in this Casita in January of 2008 and had an incredible time. The Casita itself feels very open and comfortable and the design is very modern and stylish. We had a wonderful time. Seeing the many the stars at night is very surprising. Had no idea you could actually see this many stars and the milky way until we stayed in Rancho Santana. The Casita is very special and has a very beautiful feeling to it. I highly recommend going with your family for a vacation as there are two bedrooms and plenty of room to stretch out. The clubhouse, pool and amazing food add to the comforts of a vacation here in Rancho Santana at in this Casita.
