This original Lake Rabun home has been completely renovated. Located on the "Big Basin" of Lake Rabun it is ideal for enjoying big water views yet private with over 400 feet of shoreline.
Built by Georgia Power in 1915, Lake Rabun is 900 acres with beautiful mountain shorelines spotted with wonderful homes and filled with antique wooden boats. You can bring your own boat with ramp access 1.5 miles from the house. Enjoy fishing, waterskiing, or a cocktail cruise to Louie's for pizza!
Main house offers 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. The main floor has kitchen, living room, master bedroom with king bed, child beds, and bathroom. There is also a guest bedroom with private bathroom and a half bath for living area.
Downstairs includes a guest bedroom with queen bed and 1 twin day bed then 2 more bedrooms each with 2 twin beds and a total of 2 full bathrooms. There is also a sitting area with TV, small refrigerator and ice maker. Main dock is great for enjoying the lake.
Boat House is fully furnished with large sitting room with TV, queen bed and full bathroom. The main stall of the boat house is for owner's use only but there are docks on each side for our renters and room for 2 boats.
Nearby attractions include numerous waterfalls, Tallulah Gorge, and downtown Clayton. A fun day trip is to Highlands, NC - about a 1 hour drive.
