Why the Owner Chose Traverse City
Number one reason for our family is the water, it is the prettiest water we have seen in Michigan and it reminds us of the Carribean. It is so clear and the different shades of blue and green are really awesome.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We do alot of boating, tubing and jet skiing. We also enjoy relaxing by the lake on the beach. When we are not relaxing in and around the water, we enjoy hiking through the woods, shopping downtown, going to the farmers market on saturday mornings, feeding the ducks downtown and of course, there are tons of restaurants to choose from. In the winter, we ski and sled. We never have to worry about having enough snow for those activities.

This was our first visit to Traverse City and we enjoyed it very much. The owners were great to work with and very accomodating. The condo offered private beach access and was just a short drive to Traverse City. When we arrived, we were greeted by (2) chipmunks which were very entertaining. The location is nice and quiet with mature trees. Some of the condo decor could use updating (wallpaper and appliances) but it served our purposes very well. The bed was very comfortable which was a big plus!! I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for reasonable accomodations. There were only 2 of us, but with 2 full baths and the pullout couch, it would well accomodate a family of 3 or 4.

I was looking for something different than a hotel room for a weekend in Traverse City for a wedding. The condo was clean, well-maintained, comfortable and close to both downtown Traverse as well as other areas. The beach area is walking distance from the condo and was beautiful. My husband and I loved staying there and will definitely consider it next time we travel to the area. I saw that another person mentioned the lack of wifi. My device prompted me for a password, which I was able to obtain after calling the Front Desk and had no further problems. Perhaps an instruction sheet for how to access wifi would be a helpful addition for guests.

Could have been a better experience and should have been 5 stars!!!!

Gorgeous views, clean and well maintained property, comfortable bed, the kids loved it, and close proximity to everything in Northern Michigan. We had sent one email before we left with some questions and also if the condo was available past our stay into the week. The calender showed it open and we just wanted to know if that was an option. We received no response. We loved the area so much once we were there, we tried again to contact the owner. We sent two emails and made two phone calls to the number that was provided to us. Very disappointed that we never heard anything back either way. There was no wireless connection available as advertised, so thankfully we had our iphones to use for any internet searches we wanted to do. The DVD player had horrible sound. We rented movies and tried it on both TVs and determined it was due to the convertor box that went between the TV and DVD player. The WiFi and DVD player we could get past but the lack of communication was not. We moved to a hotel for the additional 3 nights and enjoyed the rest of our time in Traverse City. We would not rent through this owner again or recommend to anyone.
Owner response:What this renter did not realize when they wrote this review was that I had a death in my family the week that they were in my condo and I was not able to receive calls nor did I have time to check my emails. It has been a very difficult time for me. In regards to the dvd player, I explained to her that the dvd player worked fine the week before she was there when I was in the condo on my personal vacation. I have since had it looked at and it works fine. The wifi is through the resort. The TV gives a code to use to login or a phone call can be made to the front desk to obtain it.

This condo was clean and well-maintained. The binder with the area's attractions was very informative. I stayed during Cherry Festival week. I was close to all the activities, but far enough out to not be in all the traffic. I also went to Elk Rapids one day and that was only a 15-minute drive. The wineries on Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas are fabulous! Great condo, great location!

Thank you Anne. Your Condo is beautiful. My family had a wonderful time enjoying Traverse City and The Resort. You have the nicest water north of the Caribbean! We will be back.
