Being a hunter myself, I felt completely at home in this cabin and loved the decor. The hot tub was so nice to be able to use after coming back from hiking in the snow all day. The only thing I think it could use, is some additional cooking utensils, such as a cheese grader, broiling pan or measuring cups. But, if this is my only recommendations, it can't be that bad. It is well kept and very relaxing! I have already recommended this cabin to friends and family. I was looking to get away to somewhere remote, and this fit the match perfectly. There are neighbors (two I think I remember), but they are far away and you can't really see them through the trees. I have always lived in the mountains without neighbors, and they were far enough away that it didn't bother me any. I will try to return here if I am in the area again. Very nice!

And yes, I am an avid outdoorsman and it does show in the decor, its great when i here others like the motif like myself. Me and my husband stayed for 4 days, it was so peaceful , the owner was very nice and went out of his way for us, the pictures don't do the cabin justice, we can't wait to do it again. Rod we hope your new job is working out. :) Highly recommend this cabin.

Spent Super Bowl weekend at the cabin with some friends and had a great time. Enjoyed the senery, the hot tub, and the game. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to enjoy the piece, quiet and beauty of the mountains.

Cabin for Christmas!

We had our family Christmas at the cabin this year , it was great . A beautifull cabin , with all amenities we needed . Quiet and secluded , but close enough to neighbors to help if you get stuck in the snow ( our experrience) I would deffinetly recommend this cabin .

great getaway

It was a great place owner was very accomodating I would definately recommend this to everyone if they just need a weekend getaway.. I probably would not recommend this property if you have trouble with stairs but other then that a five star rating.

Excellent location. The cabin was so comfortable and the surrounding area breathtaking. The owner and the housekeeper made sure we had everything we needed and were wonderful. I hope to return again next year. Our family vacation was a success thanks to this beautiful cabin and hospitable owner.

Our stay at this cabin was terrific! The cabin had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. Our whole family had a great time riding our ATV's on the fun trails. The hot tub felt awesome after riding all day. The pictures and the property descriptions on this website accurately reflect the cabins appearance and amenities. The property is clean and well maintained. We recommend this cabin for anyone looking to get away from it all still have all the amenities of your own home.

Our family of 6 (four children) went to this cabin for four days! We had a great time. We enjoyed playing in the snow, going for walks and soaking in the great jacuzzi! The cabin was extremely clean with brand new carpet and tile. It was well stocked with everything that we needed. We love that it was so close to Boise and we went their for dinner one night. The owner was very honest with his description and very accomadating. We woudl recomend this cabin for sure.

Mountain Gettaway

It is a beautiful little cabin up in the woods. Perfect for a weekend gettaway and has all the amenities of home. I would recommend it for couples or families.

We just loved this cabin! Though the drive took a bit longer than we thought it would (count on an hour from Boise) it was worth every minute! The cabin is comfortable, the views are great, the hot tub is in such a nice setting, and even the neighbors were friendly! Totally recommend checking out the Clear Creek Lodge for some local flavor and honestly priced beer, Idaho City is not too far down the road and makes for a nice day trip, but most of all we recommend: sleeping in, having breakfast on the front deck, taking a dip in the hot tub, and enjoying the evening listening to wildlife on the back deck. Would certainly stay again.

Breath of the mountain air

This rental cabin took my families breath away. It was very user friendly and well organized, clean and luxerious. We found that everything that was described by the owner was absolutley true and more. The peace and quite of the mountain air and wildlife was breathtaking. Mountain cabin retreat

We enjoyed our deep woods experience at the mountain cabin. The cabin is well equipped and in a beautiful setting. It was so nice and quiet and dark at night for great sleeping. It's a fisherman and hunter's delight. It's rustic and nicely decorated in a hunters motif.
