This lovely 2 bedroom apartment is on the Prinsengracht just 2 blocks from Rijksmuseum and 5 minutes from the Leidseplein. The antiques district is just at the end of the block and the shopping district, flower market, a variety of great restaurants and cafes, theater and cinemas are all a few minutes walk away.
The apartment itself is light and spacious(approx. 125 m2/1350 square feet) and is located on the second floor (above ground) and accessed by stairs.
The large kitchen joins the dining and living rooms on the entry level of the apartment and upstairs are 2 double bedrooms and spacious bathroom with separate bathtub and shower and a separate toilet room.
The bedrooms are well separated from each other by a long hallway, and the bathroom.
Both floors have windows that open wide onto the canal in the front and the back overlooks the gardens. There is a small roof terrace.
Both bedrooms very have high, open beamed ceilings and are extraordinarily light due to the south-facing location of the building. When the sun is out in Amsterdam, it's streaming in and bathing the apartment in lovely light.
The front bedroom is large, charming, and overlooks the canal. It has a king-size bed that can be separated into 2 singles.
The second bedroom, overlooking the back garden has a queen-size bed (cannot be separated) and a television.
There is a fixed phone line available as well as high speed wireless ADSL internet.
There's a small balcony nestled in between the rooftops.
