Beautiful cedar home on two acres of wooded property, with views of the lake. Get away from the hustle and bustle of town and watch the sunset from the open deck, or have coffee and watch the sunrise from the covered porch. Early morning risers will enjoy watching the deer saunter through the property. Fireflies will enchant you in the evenings!
After a round of golf at the Coves, cook out on the grill, or drive a few minutes to Cherokee Yacht Club for dinner. Other good restaurants are within 20 minutes.
Our home has slate floors and countertops in the living, dining, bath and kitchen areas - wet feet don't bother us! Lovely pine flooring is in the bedrooms.
One queen-sized bedroom upstairs, one queen-sized bedroom downstairs en suite. One upstairs bedroom perfect for children - bunk beds and a twin bed, with children's books and games.
Access to the owner's dock for swimming and fishing - a slide and diving board are also on the dock!
On cool evenings, enjoy the chimenea on the deck, or the fireplace in the living room.

Why the Owner Chose Grand Lake of the Cherokees
We built this home because our original 1927 two-bedroom farmhouse had become too small when my son and daughter each married and began having their own families. We also lived in this home while we remodeled our 1927 farmhouse - so it is truly a home and you will feel so comfortable there. We have left personal items there so give it extra charm.

We needed a weekend getaway and Grand Lake is perfect. We are here every weekend! We have two properties - our home on the lake and a home behind us, which we built for a guest house for our family. So we are usually around when you rent from us! But we don't invade your privacy!

We loved our stay in the Cedar House. it is such a comfortable home with lovely extra touches. The large, wrap around deck is amazing. Grandson did catch a fish...using worms, as you suggested!
