"At Last" is a spacious home located in a private setting, a short walk from the beautiful Surfside beaches. Completely renovated in 2005, this beautifully decorated upside down beach house features a soaring cathedral great room and an open granite/stainless kitchen with custom cabinetry. A large cathedral master suite with king-size bed and sitting area affords comfort and privacy. The great room has a wall of windows and French doors leading to a sunny upstairs deck and gas barbeque. A separate family/entertainment room opens to a deck, porch and large yard.
A curving brick path and garden lead to the gracious main entry. There are three beautifully appointed guest bedrooms...two feature queen-size four poster beds. The third bedroom has twin beds, and there are two full baths on this level. A laundry/mudroom opens to the back porch and yard. A convenient driveway entrance opens directly to the family room/entertainment center, with its own wet bar and refrigerator.
A lovely turning stairway lead upstairs to the sun-filled great room, kitchen and dining area, as well as the master suite.

my husband and family stayed at this beautiful home this summer. we had a wonderful time. the house is beautifully decorated and there is plenty of room. the master suite is spacious and impeccably appointed. every bathroom is georgeous. the kitchen is a dream. nice large dining table. porches (multiple) are fantastic. yard is big and landscaped perfectly. we would (and plan to) come back again next year. i highly recommend this house in beautiful nantucket! note: we did enjoy having our car with us but it is not necessary, bus stops are within walking distance, but at the end of the road. we always walked to beach but used our car to go into town and to do shopping. peg and garyDid you find this review helpful? May 30-June 27 $6500, June 27-September 5 $8500,Sept 5-Oct 1 $6500 Rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Check-in is 3pm EST. Check-out is 9 am EST. 50% deposit is required upon signing lease. Balance due 30 days prior to occupancy. Security deposit is $500 per week. Credit cards are not accepted. 7-Day minimum stay in July and August. 5-Day minimum otherwise.

After vacationing for 15 years on Nantucket Island, our family fell in love with this house because of its gracious layout, large and private yard, and proximity to the beach as well as Town.

We love the beach... the quiet yard and deck for reading and entertaining friends. We are close to many bike paths, Nantucket Town with its shops and restaurants, and the mid-island services such as grocery and drug stores, bank, gasoline and other necessities.
