  We really enjoyed our stay at Friday Harbor. The location of the condo couldn't be better. The condo was very comfortable and the well stocked. We would stay there again anytime!

  First off, the pictures do NOT do this rental justice, the pictures make this rental appear plain, it is FAR from plain. We walked into this place and both my wife and I said "WOW" at the same time. This place has EVERYTHING you will need, so STOP looking!! After you deal with Milene getting the rental set up, after you arrive, she will not bother you at all, she will leave you to enjoy your vacation, it was wonderful!! You have a notebook of what is expected of you and trust me, it is EASY!! You will have your own parking place so no trying to find a place during the midday rush in Friday Harbor, you are half a block away from a grocery store and numerous restaurants are within 2 blocks, and 2 blocks from the harbor and ferry. You have your own entrances, yes, there are two of them with electonic locks so no losing your keys. There is air conditioning, plus a number of fans, baseboard heaters, pots, pans, silverware plus any kitchen gadget you will need to help you do this on a budget as you can cook damn near anything there and save yourself some money from eating out. This rental is quiet, in fact we didn't hear anything except when a fire truck went by the front of the building. That is as loud as it got! The bed we slept in was comfortable, and we slept very well. Over the years, we have stayed at many different places on San Juan Island, but our search has ended with this rental, we have paid twice as much for rentals half as nice but no longer. Stay at this rental and you wont be dissapointed, oh and Milene, see you on our next trip to the SJI...thanks for a great stay!!

  Although we had an idea about what the condo looked like, it wasn't until we arrived that we got to see how fabulous it really is! My girls just went on and on about how darling and cool it was. I really appreciated the parking spot as we did have excursions that required us to drive....parking in a small town can be quite challenging but we had it made. This was our first visit to Friday Harbor and we loved it. It was so nice to be able to come back to the condo after a full day and just relax...with all the amenities right at hand. I appreciate being able to cook as we do get tired eating out all the time. We will definitely be back!

  Every year, the Uptown Condo exceeds expectations. Perfect location, perfect size and perfect amenities - you cannot go wrong choosing the Uptown Condo for your stay in Friday Harbor. We can't wait for next year (our 4th).

  This was a neat place in a convenient location. The grocery store is right across the street, for example. The harbor is two blocks away. The condo itself is well decorated, very functional, and efficiently laid out. Almost infinitely better than a hotel room. The sole detraction is that it can get a bit noisy, which is to be expected since the condo is right downtown. It was warm when we were there, and we had all the windows open. Traffic starts at 6AM (mostly delivery trucks), and the bar patrons go until midnight. Noise aside, we had a grand time in the condo.

  Owner response: Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed the location and the furnishings. Noise is not a usual complaint, but then the rare hot weather has probably contributed to more open windows than usual. There are both air conditioners and fans in the unit, so opening the windows is usually not necessary. I am also surprised by the comment about bar traffic, since the closest bar is pretty far away. But there is a movie theatre nearby, so that may have contributed to the traffic.

  Lovely condo and wonderful location! We enjoyed the lavender festival and the whale watching boat, along with the beautiful scenery and local restaurants.

  Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The location of the condo can't be beat, we walked right off the ferry to the condo in minutes. Everything is right outside the door of this very well-stocked and comfortable condo. Plenty of room for our two small families.

  We have rented at least a dozen vacation condos over the last 5 years and this one ranks right up there with the best of them. It was spacious, very clean, beautifully furnished, and in a great location. We loved that it was quiet but still right in the middle of town, easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the ferry. We would highly recommend renting this condo to anyone visiting Friday Harbor.
