I chose this condo for a short stay in Friday Harbor with my wife. We were amazed by the spaciousness and cleanliness of it. With the fireplace and proximity to everything the town has to offer, this was an incredible experience! We will stay here again very soon!

I visited with my two young sons and my mother and the place was just perfect. Great location, very quaint and charming decor and the layout was great for us. My room was joined with a bunk bed room for the boys and my mom got her own bedroom. Loved the location, so close to eateries and shopping, though we mostly cooked in. It was great to be near the grocery store for last minute items. We would certainly stay here again.

This is our 2nd stay in the uptown condo and we just LOVE it!! Perfect location for doing fun stuff like restaurants, galleries, movies, shopping and the wildness of the island is still just moments away. We will return again and again! Beds, especially the master, could use an extra topper (like a memory foam one or something) to make them a bit softer.

The condo was like the inside of a pottery barn magazine layout. So very warm and inviting! Right in down town Friday Harbor so every thing was within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and inviting. I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay in Friday Harbor.

We had a great stay here. The two full bedrooms were perfect for the adults and the children loved the room with the bunk beds and their own sink. I think this apartment is the only residential property in the building, so I didn't have to worry about "shushing" the kids in an apartment. The location was perfect for us, right in the center of Friday Harbor, within close walking distance of restaurants, shops, grocery stores and whale watching tours. The apartment itself was extremely clean, bright, charming, comfortable (soft sheets, plenty of blankets, fans), and had all the cooking/eating equipment needed to eat at home. Plenty of clean towels.There was a pack-and-play and a booster seat for those with younger children. We only stayed a few days but could have been comfortable for much longer. Directions/communications with the owner were helpful and timely. She provided good directions and recommendations for tours and restaurants. I would recommend this place to ANYONE. Thanks Milene!

In fact, there are no other residences or restaurants or bars nearby, so you don't have to worry about either making too much noise or being bothered by others' noise. My relatives and I had a wonderful time--we had everything we needed and then some. It was our first time on San Juan Island and the location was perfect. We had a car and the parking place made it easy to unload our bags. I plan to return and continue Orca watching!
Owner response:You can't come to San Juan Island without doing some whale watching! If you don't want to pay for a boat ride, just take a picnic out to Lime Kiln State Park (locals call it "Whale Watch Park"), find yourself a picnic table, and wait. In season (April to October), you have a good chance of spotting whales. Another good idea is to call the Whale Museum before you find a spot for watching, as the museum often knows where whales have recently been seen.

We had a great stay at the condo over Memorial Day weekend. You can't beat the location ... just steps from the ferry dock. (This made it super convenient since we left our car in Anacortes and biked on.) The condo is a nicely redone space in an older building just above the shops on the main street. It was fun to hop out the door and walk two steps to the best breakfast place in town! Very clean and comfortable, and overall a fantastic base for exploring the island.
Owner response:Thanks, Hannah - glad you had a great time! I see you discovered the Rocky Bay Cafe, which is as good for lunch as it is for breakfast. The condo truly is in a great location for just walking on to the ferry. But for anybody coming with a car, we also have a parking space, off street and right behind the building.

This was our first time to the Island and we had such a lovely time. The furnishings were perfect and the kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely be coming back to stay here the next time we make a trip up. Thank you! :)

We do try to keep everything one might need in the kitchen: cookware, bakeware, mixing bowls, dishes, silverware & utensils, glasses, tableclothes, placemats and more. The place is designed to be a "home away from home" for people when they travel.

We had a great visit to Friday Harbor and the Uptown Condo ending October 18. The weather was wonderful as was the condo. Great Location right in the middle of town. We will definitely reccommend it to our friends. Kudos from Tennessee.

My two friends and I had a wonderful trip to Friday Harbor and the Uptown Condo fit us perfectly. We loved the fact that we could find anything we needed--groceries, bank, ferry, art galleries, restaurants, Whale Museum, massage--within 1 1/2 - 2 blocks. The parking space behind the condo was great for our rental car. We each got our own bedroom and were so comfortable in the living room people-watching out the windows. We saved money on restaurant eating because we had a full kitchen and plenty of space at the big dining room table. All of us agreed that we loved staying at the condo and would stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the Uptown Condo. We couldn't of asked for a nicer place to stay. The furnishings were beautiful and the owners were very nice. The location was great. Walk out your front door and you are in the middle of downtown. Close to everything. We are all ready planning our next visit when we can stay longer. Would strongly recommend.

The Uptown Condo is centrally located in downtown Friday Harbor so it works well for guests without a car. Close to good restaurants, shopping, ICE CREAM, and the marina. The condo is clean and well kept with all the cooking tools (pots, pans, etc.) that a serious cook needs. The owners were helpful and responsive to our questions about activities in the area. We kayaked with San Juan Outfitters and had a wonderful time and enjoyed happy hour at "The Place" down on the water.

What a great place to stay. The condo is within walking distance of the ferry and the front door opens right on the main street though noise was never a problem. The condo itself was clean with all the basic supplies. I would definitely stay there again.

Milene, your place is great! The condo is very comfortable and spacious and easily accommodated two couples. We had everything that we needed for cooking in and relaxing evenings, and of course the location is primo for what ever one needs, or wants to do. We could go on but suffice to say that we look forward to another visit.

We wanted to thank you for providing us with a great Condo on Friday Harbor. It was clean, nice and easy to get to everything. It was great having Kings Market across the street too. Friday Harbor is now one of my kids favorite places to visit.

Our recent stay in the apartment was excellent. It is so much better than the web site describes, spacious, very high quality decorations and Friday Harbour is on the door step...perfect!
