Several beaches, including world class Hapuna Beach State Park, are minutes away. Just up the road is the town of Waimea, home of the famous Parker Ranch. The town has a highlands atmosphere and several great restaurants. Down the road from Waikoloa Village is the Kohala Coast. Championship golf courses and the resorts of Mauna Lani, Mauna Kea and the Hilton Waikoloa Village are just a short drive. One block to grocery shopping,gas station and restaurants as well as a rental store that includes video rental; baby furniture, cribs, strollers, car seats etc. as well as household items.
