  This is a fantastic villa and a wonderful place to relax and unwind. It is a beautiful, three-bedroom hacienda in a secure, gated community. The house is very large and the bedrooms are separated such that you have complete privacy, including a large “en suite” bathroom in each bedroom. Two of the bedrooms have King size beds, while the third has 2 Queen size beds plus 2 bunk beds. This makes it a perfect place for 3 couples or 2 couples with a separate room for the children. It includes a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, so you can prepare your own meals (or have the housekeeper cook for you). You can also walk to the local café, Buzzard’s. Buzzard’s is a small old style out-door Mexican café (palapa roof and sand floor) with excellent margaritas and meals. The house and the community are very quiet, so it is enjoyable to stay around the house and enjoy the fabulous views, read and/or play in the heated infinity pool and Jacuzzi. We also saw whales from the outside seating area almost every morning. The house is just a short walk from a beautiful beach, which had no one on it when we were there in late January. In fact, we saw very few tourists in the area on any of our daily walks. If you want to play tourist, the house’s location allows easy access (a 15 minute drive) to all of the tourist amenities (lots of restaurants and shops) in San Jose del Cabo and a little further to Cabos San Lucas. While you are in San Jose del Cabo, we highly recommend eating at Deckman’s restaurant, which we found to be outstanding

  What a wonderful, relaxing trip...stayed at the "Casa Jardin del Mar" with my wife and extended family , what a terrific experience! The house located in the "El Encanto de la Laguna" development situated on the "east cape" side of Los Cabos, was such a refreshing change from the mega-resorts and spring break hoopla that is inescapable on the San Lucas side. Offering exceptional comfort and breathtaking ocean vistas, our family was perfectly content staying at the house all day enjoying its wonderful amenities. The house, tastefully decorated with its high ceilings, large wooden beams and artisan style furniture, and the grounds very well kept with interesting plants and cacti, very much has that “hacienda” feel. Of course our family probably spent the most time in the infinity pool complete with a swim up bar (and underwater bar stools!), and adjoining Jacuzzi. One my favorite evening activities after dinner was floating in the pool on my back and gazing at all of the brilliant stars. So peaceful and just steps away from an empty beach, you can really hear the waves crashing, and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. World-class Golf? Absolutely...Puerto Los Cabos, combo Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman design, is a 5 min drive and has great twilight rates. The rate includes all you can drink and eat! Such a fantastic time, I can’t recommend this house enough. Perfect for families, and/or friends getting together.

  This place is total luxury with all the amenities and more all wrapped up in the setting of the beautiful Mexican Baja coast. Very safe- guarded entrance with an escape into your own private paradise. Imagine being able to jump into your own private infinity pool and swim up to the pool bar to grab a cold cervessa then hang out in the adjacent hot tub with your favorite music playing watching pods of whales go by ! We've been lucky enough to come here twice- winter when the whales and flying fish abound and summer when the waves brought the surfer back into my husband . There is something here for all the family. Gourment kitchen with all the best appliances and filtered water, beautiful decor ( owners wife is a decorator with impeccable taste ) huge family/ living room with free wifi,cable big screen TV , free long distance phone .Three separate bedroom suites with huge tiled baths and top of the line comfortable beds. The entire back yard has views of the ocean but the newly expanded upper deck has super comfortable seating with even more expanded spectacular vistas One short block to an empty beach for your play or if you prefer an on site work out room . Super nice staff stay out of your way but somehow manage to do laundry, clean the pool or help you with reservations to a nearby top rate ocean view golf course which comes complete with complimentary plentiful drinks ( free booze) and fairway sided free delicious fresh made tapas and tacos. There is a small local /bar/restaurant 2 blocks away which is surprinly good and a perfect laid back place for a casual meal. We mostly shopped a the nearby ( 15 mins away by car ) large grocery store which carries most every item you would find at home plus cheap warm hand made tortillas , churos and other Inexpensive but great local items such as huge perfect mangos. Since the kitchen is fully equipped and there's plenty of dining room places both inside and on the covered porch there's no need to get out of your swim suit . However when we occasionally venture out there are tons of great restaurants in nearby San Jose del Cabo and will as fun shopping areas with local crafts , clothes , arts etc.The Mexican people are very friendly and you don't have to speak Spanish although . We always feel safe . The owner helped us with lots of tips on such things as great beachs for snorkeling , surf and fishing spots and many places to dine both casual and more upscale. Can't wait to return !!
