This is a beautiful 1927 Spanish style house with hard wood floors throughout and tile bathrooms. This charming home is built around a tiled interior courtyard complete with its own fireplace. The house has great old world charm with all the modern day amenities one could ask for. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the hills, this home is also just minutes away from Hollywood Blvd and other areas of interest.
The large garden is very private and contains its own pool, a trampoline, and a swing set. The pictures will speak for themselves. This house is ideally suited for a family with children who wants to enjoy, and explore the sites of Los Angeles, but also wishes to have the ability to entertain their children at the house. The house is served by a gardener, pool man, and a housekeeper. There are a few plants on the patio and second floor balcony that require a little watering. Due to evaporation the pool might need some water from the garden hose if it falls below a certain level.
Two of the bedrooms are very chid orientated so it is difficult to recommend our house to a large party of only adults.

wonderful time at the thanksgiving house. our family loved the back yard and all the sitting and gathering areas. everything crispy clean and our view from upstairs room in the morning gave us sunrises each day. our grandson is planning on telling us a story about the trampoline. this is a fine place to stay. the rooms are quite large...bigger than the actual photos.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children.

This is a fantastic place to stay! Each year, our group of friends from high school, spends a long weekend together, this year we chose Hollywood and found this fabulous treat! From the beginning to the end, this was a fantastic experience. The owner is fabulous to deal with, very responsive, and would answer e-mails within hours. Upon arrival, the oohs and aahs began. The home has wonderfully comfortable furnishings, and lots of open space, and the most AMAZING views! We found our sleeping spaces and started to explore our surroundings-there are 3 outdoor areas, each one has it's own charm, and we took the time to use each one. The indoor dining table was large enough for all of us to enjoy our meals, and endless chatter. The location is an easy 10 minutes to Hollywood Blvd. We actually walked down to enjoy the craziness, and had an easy walk back. Many of us run, and the challenge of the hills was lots of fun, the walkers enjoyed themselves too. We found cooking and living in the home very easy to do, but there are many places to dine within just a few minutes drive. The pool was fabulous, and we were spared June gloom, so we were out enjoying the sun everyday. The bedding and beds are also quite a treat, everything is so soft and cozy. I would rent this home again, and one of the gals from our group is considering it for her family vacation. You won't be sorry, it really is wonderful.
