My husband was born and raised in Colorado. He has been always fond of Colorado history, nature and wildlife. He loves mountains and he is great skier.
I came to Colorado in 2000. It is one of the most beautiful States: four seasons, gorgeus mountains, creeks, lakes...
We are world travelers and we appreciate hospitality and "little touches" when we travel. That is why we know how to make our guests' stay more enjoyable.
We have three children and we know how to make kids happy: toys, games, books, movies are available for families with kids.
Why the Owner Chose Idaho Springs
We could not imagine a better location: quiet street, walking distance to historic district, museums, shops, restaurants. Great view of the mountains, close to Clear Creek, Hot Mineral Springs. It it very close to everything - to downtown of Denver, Mountains, Skiing, White Water Rafting, Casinos, you name it!
As a great bonus we can observe wild life right from the deck - my kids love it! We have deer, foxes, racoons come right to our deck.
Another bonus we got is our wonderful neighbors: very friendly and helpful if you need to jump your car or get tips on the attractions of the area.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
Idaho Springs is a great place where you can enjoy everything Colorado has to offer: Gold Rush history, old mining towns, railroad history, gorgeous nature, scenic drives( Mt Evans Scenic Byway; Oh, My God Road to historic Central City, etc.), tons of trails, great biking, White Water rafting right here on Clear Creek, Hot Mineral Springs, great skiing at Loveland Ski resort just minutes away.
If you enjoy geology and mining history you would love to take a private tour at Edgar Mine a walking distance from the cabin. Take a walk uphill and appreciate the view at the same time.
