  Great house on the beach. Well stocked with beach toys, boogie boards, beach towels, and bikes. Plenty of room to spread out, both inside and out. Super cute, but not so fancy you're afraid of breaking stuff. Owner very accommodating with last minute reservation. We are already planning another visit next month!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  We just ended a wonderful vacation at this fun beach home. The home was spacious with large bedrooms and adjacent full baths. The beds were extremely comfortable and linens were fresh and new-looking. The kitchen was well supplied. The best part was the decks, one just outside the door and another closer to the ocean, where the water reached the steps at high tide. You could hear the ocean roar 24 hours a day even inside the house. Susu was very attentive and promptly corrected a cable/wifi problem. We walked the beach every day, drove on the beach farther down, caught redfish and grilled them, took a boat cruise and saw many dolphins and waterfowl, visited Cape Canaveral, and shopped downtown. The town offers many activities - we visited a historical museum, ate at many nice restaurants, and even saw a Mardi Gras parade. A farmers market is held on Saturdays and wine walks occur monthly.

  I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but I will this time. Susan ("Susu") was extremely easy to deal with, but we hardly had to deal with her because there simply weren't any issues about which to complain. Her house is perfect for families with children, like mine. It's a very nice house, but not so nice that you have worry about breaking something, etc. In other words, it's comfortable/cozy....and extremely so. The house has a GREAT (perfect) layout, with plenty of places to eat, nap, sit, lounge, etc., both inside and out. There is a bathroom on every floor of this 3 story (including basement) home. Susan's back deck, which overlooks the beach is amazing. I would sit on it after waking up, early in the morning, and drink coffee and stare at the ocean in amazement..and watch my kids play in the sand and water. The sand was literally 10 steps away, and, at times, the water wasn't much farther. Also, this house is near some other houses, but it is a more private area of the beach; you feel like you're far away, but you're not. And there are shells all over the place. My kids loved that. And very clean/prestine beach. Also, Susan has plenty of water and sand toys for the kids. The kitchen and living room areas are big and open, and COMFORTABLE, and with lots of windows overlooking the back deck, beach, and ocean. My only complaint about this place is that it will take you completely out of the real world and make it very difficult to return home, and to go to work. There's also a deck off of the masterbedroom, overlooking the ocean, and the beds and bedding are EXTREMELY comfortable. You won't want to get out of bed in the morning, except to hit the beach. NSB is a great town. We will not be going back to the Gulf Shores area, which is where we have vacationed in the past. NSB has a seemingly infinite number of great, local restaurants, and a lot of ice cream shops. It has everything you need or want, except miniture golf, go-carts, and the other more touristy things that virtually all of the gulf side towns have. In other words, it's not touristy. It's authentic. The downtown (near "Breakers" Restaurant) -- is unbelievably quaint and fun. Great local shops, and you're only about an hour from Walt Disney World, which we visted one day. it's an EASY drive. Honestly, my family has never had a more fun or relaxing vacation - ever.   We stayed here earlier this month for a week. We were two families of 4. (all boys - 8, 9, 10, and 11 years) The house is a great location and a wonderful layout. We made good use of both the upper and the lower beach decks...loved that they had umbrellas for shade if we wanted. The house was well equipped for cooking; for playing on the beach, etc. The downstairs first floor bedroom was perfect for the kids!! The house is in a nice, residential area full of very nice homes. The owner was very nice and accommodating and helpful with any questions or concerns that we had. If you have any issues at all when you arrive, the owners will never know if you don't tell them....it is about how they handle it. Susu was very responsive to anything we needed. (That is not to say there were major issues or anything) Also, she was kind enough to ship my bathing suits back to me that I left behind. We would stay here again and would recommend this house to others. I am never sure about the rating system...if you are rating it based on a 5 star is a Ritz Carlton and a 4 star is a nice Westin or Marriott, this is a 4 star - very nice! Thank you Susu!

  The pictures of this house do not do it justice. It is beautifully decorated - not too much - but it is not your typical house that shows the wear and tear of weekly rental. It is equipped with everything you may need - inside and out. The bedrooms are spacious and the linens provided for beds and baths are very nice. We slept 8 adults very, very comfortably. We very comfortably dined, lounged, bathed and slept without any problems. One of the best parts of this property are the decks. Wow! Pub tables and umbrellas, lounge chairs, and there was even a dolphin show every morning during coffee time. We spent much time eating and gathering on the decks, watching the beach and people. We were the only ones on the beach for quite a distance. There were plenty of chairs, toys, whatever you may need. This house is not located in a congested area, but just a short drive will get you to groceries, restaruants, ice cream shop, bait store, and much more. Our young adults never lacked for something to do besides the beach. We would not hesitate to stay at this property again!

  What an amazing place. The photos do it justice - you get what you see! Lovely and clean - what more could you want? It is not pristine but with children that is exactly what we wanted. It did not feel too precious and we could all relax and treat it like we would our home. There was everything we needed in the kitchen - with the exception of a kettle - being British we are tea drinkers - so we made do with using a saucepan for boiling water. We were a family of 5 but the house could easily sleep more - although dining may well be a bit more difficult. The beach was wonderful - clean and safe and only steps away. We saw the sunrise every morning! We really did not want to leave and will hopefully be back soon.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in New Smyrna Beach. The home is beautifully decorated, with gorgeous views of the ocean. Comfy beds, plenty of room, large decks overlooking the beach, plenty of cooking utensils, etc. Highly recommended!
