The beach is awesome for playing with the kids, acting like a kid yourself, enjoying the scenery, taking a long stroll, a morning jog, reading a book, or delighting in the last rays of a gorgeous sunset. If you do not feel like getting sandy at the beach relax by one of the two pools or play some tennis, volleyball, shuffleboard or basketball. Or simply treasure pushing your child in a swing on the playground as they giggle with delight.
Port Aransas has some great restaurants for when you feel like eating out (or you did not have any luck fishing). For those who are feeling lucky there is the Texas Treasure gambling ship. If you feel like exploring there are plenty of options - scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, deep-sea fishing, Aransas Wildlife Refuge and Whooping Crane Habitat or the beach! |
