Lake Sinclair house description
To view more images please visit our BLOG
Our lake home sits at the end of a peaceful road on Lake Sinclair just 10 minutes from historic downtown Milledgeville, GA. The house is great for all ages. Kids will enjoy fishing, playing in the sand or jumping off the dock into the clean refreshing water. Teenagers and adults also like to fish, boat or water ski in the usually smooth calm waters in front of our home. In the early morning, as each new day arrives, sit on the porch or on the dock and enjoy a quiet sunrise and a cup of coffee. As evening approaches you may want to sip beverages and enjoy the solitude by the lake as the day slowly gives way to the evening. The daily singing of song birds fades and an orchestra of evening sounds fill the air. On a clear night, thousands of stars sit against the night sky likes diamonds on velvet. Enjoy star gazing, identifying the constellations, or waiting for the elusive falling star shoot across the night sky. Or, sit back, close your eyes and listen to the hoot of an owl across the lake or the sound of a fish jumping after an evening snack on the calm quite waters of this special place.

Thank you for allowing us the use of your home for our Family Vacation. House had enough room for all of us. Kids really enjoyed the downstairs den playing video games they brought with them. Best part of the house was the covered back porch that we used for every meal. When it rained, we were still able to enjoy being outside while playing cards or just enjoying each others company. Spent a lot of time fishing off the dock and tubing/skiing in the cove. Had to call homeowner (Lydia) during our stay, due to a water leak (had a lot of heavy rain).. she was wonderful to work with and had someone come out immediately to look at. Homeowner continued to follow up with the problem; making sure all was being taken care of. We are looking forward to returning and already planning our next visit. Would recommend this home to anyone looking for a lake home to rent. Thank you again for the memories we were able to make.

Our extended family - children, spouses, grandchildren - had a wonderful time at this house. We loved the house and the lake. The roof over the boat shed was a welcome relief from the July sun. we even caught a few fish! The owner was a delightful lady who was available whenever we called her. We would certainly recommend this property to family & friends - but only after we have reserved our week!!
