If you have read the other VRBO descriptions and comments, to further comment would be redundant. This is what we DO NOT have in the sleepy town of Haleiwa.
1. We don't have sidewalks.
2. No homeless sleeping on the sidewalks.
3. No parking meters.
4. No parking meters maids.
5. No traffic lights. Well, we do have one at the end of town.
6. No building taller then the tallest coconut tree.
7. No movie theater.
8. No night clubs
9. No smog.
10. No crowds on our beach.
11. No loud radios on the beach; just children’s laughter.
12. No loud noise after 10pm.
13. No cigarette butts.
14. No honking horns-it's impolite here.
What we do have in Haleiwa:
Spectacular, Haleiwa Surf condominium located fifty feet from waters edge to the property line; where one can take pleasure with drinks and sunsets on your own balcony, over looking the sandy beach.
This condo is "modern tropical" style with state of the art amenities including full kitchen cable TV and fast internet connection. Imagine checking your email before jogging the isolated beach and conduction business on your balcony while watching your family frolic in the calm safe waters.
If I can't accommodate you at Haleiwa Surf, not to worry. There's always room at my house for one more. Everything else can be found in the condo… Call me or call my Assistant Fidel.

This condo is everything described and more. The beach is fabulous and never crowded like Waikiki. The staff there is so helpful, personal, and friendly. The condo is clean and well equipped. It's within walking distance to the historic town of Haliewa. An absolute perfect place to stay!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

What a delightful spot. On the spur of the moment, my wife and I decided we had had enough of Seattle winter so we started looking for condo/house rental. We have always loved Haleiwa and wanted a place where we could be close to and try to live like the locals. Fortunately, this Haleiwa Surf condo was exactly what we wanted. The location is perfect with it being right on the beach with an easy walk into town. The views are fantastic with a colony of turtles just down the beach. Our condo had everything we needed so it was very easy to cook for ourselves or just pop into town for lunch or dinner. An unexpected plus was how friendly the whole complex was. Everyone we met was friendly and enjoyable to talk with. There are grills and picnic tables right next to the beach which was a great spot at sunset to cook or just enjoy drinks while watching the surf and talking with others. We will definitely return and may not wait until next year.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
