Carolyn and Randy, Thanks so much for loaning us this wonderful home. We had 4 "Coasties" - our daughter and 3 of her cadet friends. The girls ate like pigs, slept a lot, and were totally relaxed ... just what they needed !! They all loved the house and their time here. We all want to know: Is it too soon to reserve the house for the week of May 21, 2014? That's when the girls graduate and we'd all love to come back.

Thank you Randy and Carolyn for providing such a great place to stay while my husband was attending the Coast Guard Academy for four months. The house was truly a home to me during my stay. Everything I ever needed and more was furnished, which made for a very comfortable stay. We will definitely recommend you to anyone we know who is planning on a trip to New London!

We celebrated our family reunion and this house was warm, inviting and a perfect vacation for all! "On the waterfront" was amazing - what a view and the food was yummy! Guthrie Beach was fun, easy and the raft was enjoyed by the girls. Ocean Beach Park was perfect for all. The waterslide was a bonus, thanks to Auntie Sue. Thank you for the memories! Dear Randy and Carolyn, Our group had a wonderful time in your beautiful house. You really think of everything when equipping the house. Our favorite room was probably the third floor - we loved the TV and futon. The whole town is very scenic: you get the colors of the fall leaves and the breeze of the sea at the same time - it's beautiful. Dear Carolyn and Randy, Lively beach - seven perfect beach days - sailboats, ferries! Muddy Waters Cafe on Bank Street has good food and coffee and a fun view of New London Harbor. The house was very nice for our large extended family. We had a barbeque in the backyard for 21 with enough utensils for everyone! Thank you for providing a perfect spot for our family reunion!

Our 14-year-old enjoyed his "bachelor cave" on the 3rd floor, and then his sister and cousins gradually arrived and all had a good time trying to beat each other's high scores on the touch arcade and video games. Dear Carolyn and Randy, Thank you so much for being such awesome hosts! This house has so much charm and personality, ample room and needless to say (but will!) an awesome third floor which entertained my two teenage boys to no end. Also, great plasma TV to watch the World Cup! Didn't beat a score yet on the arcade game! The beach is clean and close by; it was a pleasure to have the umbrella and chair brought where we liked and set up. This was the perfect location for a family graduation get-together that my sister threw for us! Just keep doing what you're doing - you'll always have plenty of satiffied, happy, and returning guests.

Randy and Carolyn, Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here. We had a great time! New London was everything I imagined and more. The house accommodated all of us comfortably and had plenty of room to sit, talk, and relax. We enjoyed the walks in the neighborhood and all this area had to offer. We loved Guthrie Beach and Michael's Dairy. The close proximity to Mystic and the Navy base was great. The 3rd floor had tons of toys for the 7 kids in attendance. There's also a great kids park behind Michael's Dairy. Great big house for a great time!

Your house is a great rental. It is a perfect location, quiet neighborhood, close to everything and the house itself has everything anyone would ever need. The 3rd floor is the best! I read the diary of past renters and agree with them entirely. We as a family were either upstairs playing with the kids on the 3rd floor or relaxing on the porch. We West Coast visitors don't really have porches so we enjoyed sitting on the front porch visiting, watching, reading, relaxing etc.

The four of us celebrated our 50th birthdays (two years late). Two of our members couldn't fly in because of hurricanes in Florida. The four of us had a great time and our host could not have been more thoughtful, even leaving a poker table with chairs and cards all ready to go. We swam, played tennis, played cards, had Mystic Pizza, and generally had fun. Thanks so much.

Hey! We've decided to do a diary-kind of log for the next few days! We appreciate this vacation more than you could imagine. Our first day was cool, and Carolyn was super-cool when we arrived. The rooms are BEAUTIFUL! And although we know you've heard this a lot, the third floor was awesome - especially the Dance Dance Revolutions! In ten short days, lifetime memories were created. A new experience for many - a wonderful opportunity. We found this area to be a perfect location for entertainment, great food and the calm relaxing time sitting on the shore and swimming were exactly what we wanted! I had so much fun. I loved being here from Day 1... so many experiences - the beach, etc. The third floor was so much fun. I love the disco balls. The beach was fun (just a lot of jellyfish). I did the doll head's hair (in the toy area) - check it out! Thanks a lot for everything!

Yesterday we went to Jamm's (Mystic) and had amazing seafood, and then went to the cute little shops in Olde Mystic Village. Then we went to Guthrie Beach for a swim. Today we went downtown and ate at an amazing restaurant and the people were so friendly. Everyone is friendly in this neighborhood. We had phenomenal ice cream at Michael's Dairy (up the hill, take a left, it's on the right - two minute drive). This house is beautiful and comes with everything plus more!!! Well tonight we are having steak and grilled corn. Can't wait! It's too bad we only have 2 days left.

Randy and Carolyn, A great house in a great location! Thanks for providing everything we needed. I especially enjoyed the backyard, the lovely quilts, the bird songs, and the shady trees. The food at the Recovery Room by the hospital was excellent. The food/atmosphere at Lou Au's (in Groton) was very fun. Mystic Seaport was entertaining and educational. We loved the Harbor View House! It was fun staying home or exploring the area. The house had everything we needed and more. It was very comfortable (great beds!), clean, and great for entertaining.
