This lovely renovated cottage on Lake Louisa is nestled in the beautiful rolling hills community of Clermont. Lake Louisa is a 3700 acre lake, the largest on a Chain of 13 lakes which is considered an outstanding waterway located in Lake County. Lake Louisa has a white sandy bottom and is an average of 10 feet in depth. Our spot on the Lake is truly a piece of paradise that will make your vacation a memory to be relived over and over. You will find this vacation cottage a peaceful secluded place to kiss your cares good-bye. You may enjoy sunning on the 16 X 24 dock, swimming, skiing, fishing or just reading your favorite book on the patio as the cool breeze rustles through the massive cypress trees on our property. Enjoy your hot coffee on the dock or patio while observing the stunning sunrise or daily Disney Fireworks after dark.
We are located on a corner lot surrounded by a canal on the north side, and the cottage faces a gorgeous view of direct lake frontage. Help yourself to the fresh oranges, key limes, and luscious seedless pink grapefruit in season. Our home is a two-story bungalow style cottage that has been decorated with a professional touch and includes new tile floors and carpet throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped and boasts new appliances. The downstairs is an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and is surrounded by large windows bringing the beauty inside. The Living room includes Color TV with cable channels. High speed wireless internet is also available. Board games, cards, and movies are all provided for your free time. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen bed, and the other includes two twin beds with a large full bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs features a queen bed with a sitting area that overlooks the canal to the north. The bath upstairs has a walk-in shower. The office or 4th bedroom features two twin beds and writing desk to catch up on business at home or the office.
Everything has been taken into consideration for our guests to feel comfortable and at home. All linens and towels provided along with a washer, dryer, and an additional refrigerator/freezer. Barbecue gas grill provided for your convenience.
Bring your boat to launch at the public boat ramp and store in our boat house if needed. Boat rentals available in the Clermont area. One third of the lake is Lake Louisa State Park and therefore more secluded and less traveled than other lakes on the chain. We are within minutes of all Disney area attractions, which include the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Sea World, MGM Studios with the Hard Rock Cafe and Universal Theme Park to name a few. You can travel easily to Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, 50 miles to the east--or to Busch Gardens in Tampa, St. Pete and the Gulf of Mexico, 50 miles to the west.

My husband and I grew up coming to Lake Louisa with friends and family. Some of my best childhood memories were created on the lake. We wanted to continue to create memories with our family and hope that others will enjoy their families at our home as well.

Dear Doris and Jimmy, Thanks again for sharing your lovely cottage with us! We arrived very late at night and found the surroundings of your cottage look like a brothers Grimm's fairy tale - lots of cypress and citrus trees with Spanish moss hanging down everywhere, beautiful lake with full moon and shining stars, and an air filled with sweet aroma of blooming oranges. We found the house absolutely beautiful and charming too! Everything has been taking into consideration - we felt that we had everything we needed and beyond for enjoying our vacation! We would highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a quiet, peaceful vacation away from it all! You can't even compare staying in this cottage versus busy crowded resorts and hotels. Here you can sleep in or wake up at dawn to greet the breathtaking sunrise on the lake, read you book on the lakefront screened porch, have a fresh mandarin or grapefruit for breakfast picked up right from the citrus trees in the yard, swim in the lake right off the private pier or kayak to the lake Louisa state park with a large white sandy beach and swimming area. For those who come to this part of Florida specifically for Disney/Seaworld/downtown Orlando/Universal attractions and plan to spend every day of their vacation there we would recommend finding a place closer to those attractions. But since that wasn't our primary purpose of visiting Florida we didn't mind driving for about 45 minutes each way to Seaworld/ Aquatica parks and 1,5 hours to the Homosassa state park for the "swim with manatees" program and their wonderful state park zoo. We decided to take advantage of staying right on the lake and enjoyed a peaceful family time, so we skipped some planned activities and didn't regret about it at all - we hope to come again and do them next time!
