This house is centrally located in the heart of Colorado Springs. This House is on a corner lot where the cottonwood provides ample shade where you can view Pikes Peak. This house is located less than a mile from I-25 and is close to everything in Pikes Peak Region.
This lovely home is fully furnished, centrally located, yet peaceful and quiet. What more can you ask of your home-away-from-home? Just blocks from museums, shopping, parks and, of course, Starbucks, you are just 20 minutes away from literally almost everything you could ever want to do outdoors. Pike National Forest is just moments away, hosting a variety of awe-inspiring trails for horse-back riding, biking, hiking, 4X4ing. There’s paragliding, mountain climbing, rafting, the Royal Gorge Bridge, swimming, golfing, hunting, fishing, even bird-watching. Take the kids to Garden of the Gods to view ancient Indian artifacts. Ride the Cog Railroad to the top of Pikes Peak, or drive 45 minutes to Cripple Creek and tour a working gold mine, gamble in the casinos, feed the wild burros. Hike the Seven Falls trail, and stop to shop in artsy Manitou on your 10-minute drive home. Enjoy the convenience of staying in a quiet neighborhood, blocks from downtown Colorado.
My name is Jackie and my husband and I manage this rental for friends who live out of state. Although I'm not the owner, I'm not a property management company. I live 5 minutes away and am always available for help with the house or with the area. We have a great housekeeper and I visit the house each time before our guests arrive to make sure you'll be satisfied with it. Our standards are high as is our respect for our guests.

2 thumbs up for this place. Our family stayed here for a week for USAFA parents weekend and had a great time. One small incident with a draining problem, but it was taken care of immediately and they were so nice and helpful about the whole thing. We love the place and are renting for a week again in 2012. It's close to a lot of things. Everything about this place is clean and beautifully maintained. Truly a home away from home and a place to make memories.

I was most impressed with everything about our experience. Jackie was very responsive and helpful from answering questions to booking the house and had everything in order when we arrived on short notice. Then we were delighted with the house itself! You could tell that it was a home, not some throw away rental. The house had been very well taken care of and has a great remodeled interior and a wonderful private backyard. It's location is in a nice neighorhood and you can see the mountains from the deck/backyard. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent again! A big thanks from all of us!
