We had a great time, the weather was good. No surprises of any kind. The property was neat and clean and we would come back again soon. The restaurants nearby were good. The next time, I would bring my Harley because bikes are every where in this town.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Our overall stay was wonderful. Favourite part... the sunsets! Property very spacious. Found master bedroom bed not so comfortable, and living room furniture worn and not that comfortable, but not bad. We were hoping to be able to ride our bikes, but area not good for that, but GREAT for relaxation. Wonderful shopping area about 15 min. away. Overall, we had a fantastic time!!!!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My husband & I just spent two weeks at this house. It is very conveniently located for exploring the many state parks to the north & The Villages, with a lot of shopping & free entertainment, are just 15 minutes to the south. It is very large & well equipped, but it is a little scruffy. But don't let that stop you. It has a big deck, a nice pier & a big bonus room upstairs. The area is also very interesting. There are large trees dripping with Spanish moss everywhere. It has a very different flavor from the southern part of the state.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.

What a beautiful location. The property was exactly as described and more. The sunsets were spectacular and very relaxing. This was a perfect property for our family of four (including 2 teenagers). It also easily accommodated our parents for dinners and relaxing in the screened in porch. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return for future vacations.

What a great vacation! We spent most of the time just relaxing in the hammock. The sunsets were breathtaking! The house was clean and had everything we needed to stay confortable and entertained. The Ocala National forest was just a few miles away so we were able to spend some time hiking and enjoying Florida nature. The only complaint I have... and this is not the fault of the owners, is there was a huge swarm of mosquitos for a day which prevented us from going outside on the beach. But thas ok because we just enjoyed the view from the screened porch. This was one of the best vacations we've had. We will definatley be returning.

Most of our out-of-state guests have told us that the best time to go is during the winter months - No mosquitoes, less tourists at local attractions, and calmer waters on the lake. BEAUTIFULL LAKEFRONT PROPERTY

My wife and I usually go to the keys or lately on a cruise for vacation. This year, we decided to get our whole family together but since we were afraid the keys may get oil from the gulf, we found your place. The whole property, inside and out, was even better than described. Our grandchildren loved the loft with all the games,etc and the beachfront. We went tubing everyday. The Villages were only 10mins away to shop and they have every store and restaurant right there. We even had a beautiful Catholic Church that we went to. It was July, and the temperatures were 94-96 everyday but it was so comfortable inside. The mornings were great to sit out on the screened in patio and when the temp kicked in, it was time for the lake. Only problem we had, the wifi quit working, but we called the owners, and they brought us a new receiver and hooked everything back up. So.....would we do this again? YES YES YES. The whole family is excited about going back to a place where family and memories take place.

What an amazing week we had at the Exclusive Vacation Lake House on East Lake Weir. The home was beautiful and had more than we needed to accomodate our family of 7. The property owners were very helpful with anything we needed. We enjoyed countless hours on the lake boating, skiing, tubing, hydrosliding, swimming, sun-bathing, etc. The evenings were spent enjoying the nice breeze on the deck grilling and watching the most beautiful sunsets imaginable. We have decided to make this family vacation a yearly event...:)

We visit Florida a lot, and this is probably the best vacation we have EVER had. The house is brilliant, the location perfect, and the sunset's to die for! Kids love the beach and never got bored like they do with a swimming pool. Wether doing nothing, or sitting on the end of the dock fishing this is the perfect place to unwind

Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay for our vacation! We caught close to 200 blue gill and a few bass, our children are now spoiled when they go fishing! The hammock on the porch is a perfect location for that much needed afternoon nap! Hope to be back next year!

Had been many years since we stayed on Lake Weir, then we came across Yen's house. We booked it for mid-June,it was perfect. Clean, well mantained and quite reasonable. The accomodations in the house make it enjoyable for all ages. Perfect side of the lake to watch beautiful sunsets. The water's clear and great for ALL activites, including fishing. We caught well over 100 fish including bass & bluegill. Can't wait til next year, sooner if I can swing it.

What a wonderful place for a family vacation! It has everything you could ask for in a home away from home. The kids loved the game room. The screened in porch was great for quiet early mornings and evenings. This home is located on the best side of the lake for water sports. A truly lovely vacation home. The house was clean, spacious, and well equiped. The beach was clean and the water was clear. The location is great for relaxing or you have easy access to the coast or Orlando's parks. We will definitely return. As noted by others, the sunsets are beautiful. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were very nice. Believe me, their positive vibes permeate the property.

We had always vacationed near Lake Weir, but had never actually stayed on the lake itself, till this past November. We had a great time - the house and grounds are beautiful and well kept, very spacious for the five of us, and the sunsets on the lake are just to die for (they can be viewed right from the deck of the house). Nice sandy beach, and clear water - We highly suggest this property for your family vacation - we will be going back again this year!!

STAYED AT THIS BEAUTIFUL LAKE HOUSE DEC 2 - 9 2006 HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. YEN WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE ARE STAY WONDERFUL. LOVED WAKING UP TO THE VIEWS THIS HOUSE HAD. What a wonderful week!! The house was beautiful and clean and offered more than we could have hoped for. The special touches did not go unnoticed. It gave us a great week with our children and grandchildren. The sunsets are indescribable. We all just sat and enjoyed them every evening. This is a beautiful house with the right amenities. We live in the surrounding area and use this lake often for day trips. Last year we were looking for a place that we could take advantage of our boat during our vacation. We were fortunate to have found this home. Yen and Ty were more than gracious. We now take our summer vacation at Yen and Ty’s house on the lake. Definitely a great value.

My family and I have been coming to Lake Weir for vacations all of my life. This beautiful spring-fed, sparkling clear lake is perfect for all the things I love to do (boating, swimming, skiing, and my favorite, relaxing on the white sand beach or on a raft floating on the lake). This home is so spacious and beautifully equipped: The sunsets are priceless. We have stayed here for 3 years, and can't imagine not returning every year.

Wonderful couple that rented us this home, beautiful home, we had our grandkids over one day and we absolutely loved this home, everything was available and couple allowd us to feel it was our home for the weekend. We had a friend that got hurt on jetski and the home even had a first aid box available, before he got 18 stitches from being a clown.. I recommend this home to anyone just don't book it on our dates next summer hahaha...the only thing I would do different is to rent it longer than a weekend.
