We were at the Fall River House for a ski vacation in March and came back to spend the Memorial Day weekend in this Central Oregon getaway. The common areas are great for entertaining including the wonderful deck overlooking the river. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up gourmet food along with a gas BBQ to grill on any time of year. The bedrooms are away from the living room and kitchen area so finding refuge in the midst of a party is simple. The area around the house provides activities at your doorstep. From fly fishing to hiking; biking to running, just step outside. The skiing on Mt Bachelor or a trip into Bend for dinner and resupply are only 30 minutes away. The space is pet and child friendly with a large, fenced in area out back. Light, bright and perfectly maintained, you can count on having a great stay year-around.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

What a great house, right on the river! Thank you for letting us stay here, were so glad we did. We stayed there for a week with our two labs, who loved taking a swim in the cold river water. It was a great vacation and the fly fishing on the Fall River was awesome. You have your own piece of the river and it's a very quiet and beautiful area. Even just sitting in the living room and looking out at the river we saw a huge bald eagle fly by several times during our stay, awesome sight! The house is close to several other lakes and rivers in the area, as well as all sorts of other outdoor activities. The house was perfect and the owners are extremely helpful. Believe me when I say you'll be glad you picked this house to stay in for your next vacation. We will definitely stay here in the future.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We have stayed at this house several times over the last 2 years, and look forward to going there because of the relaxing and energizing time we have. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and feels like "home." I always enjoy soaking in the huge tub in the master bath, overlooking the trees. My son and husband love to take their fishing poles theshort walk to two nearby rivers. The house is dog-friendly, and our lab loves swimming daily. There are walking paths, mountain views, bike paths nearby, and we always end our time there feeling like our batteries are recharged. The owners are very responxive and easy to work with, and make sure your stay is wonderful.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

I was attending a conference at Seventh Mountain and wanted some peace and quiet. This is just a great house and it is right on the river - you can sit on the deck and watch the water go by and forget about life for a little while. The house is superb and really well stocked. This is no "cabin" - it is a luxury rental with all the cabin feel in the woods and on the river. I would recommend this home if you are looking for things to do and relaxation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
