From the moment we arrived our grandchildren and children couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the house and pool were. There isn't anything that we would change. All the rooms are large, open and airy. The beds are so comfortable and luxurious. The pool and barbeque area was our favorite, we spent so much time in and around the pool and spa. Our five year old learned to swim all by himself in the deep end of the pool. All the grandkids agreed this was the coolest house ever. Playlinda Beach is wonderful. No large crowds to bother with. Overall, our family hopes to visit as much as possible from now on. Thank you for making our Summer.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Wow, That is so kind of you to take time out of your busy schedule and right this review. What sweet, wonderful people there are in this world. Thank you so much!

My family and friends stayed at this house for a week! There were 9 of us. The house is wonderful lots of room to spread us all out so that we weren't stepping on each other every time we turned around. The 2 pools are actually a pool and a spa but both were used a lot. Denise is a wonderful person to work with and even though we had many questions she was very helpful, friendly and prompt to respond to our calls. We would like to rent this house again next year only we want to stay for two weeks instead!!! We visited Sea World, Daytona Speedway, Cocoa Beach, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Daytona Beach Boardwalk and an Airboat Ride all the attractions we went to were wonderful even though it rained almost every day. Oh well that's Florida in the summer. :-) I highly recommend this house to anyone with a large family! One suggestion: More cooking & baking pans would be nice especially with such a large group of people to feed. Thanks!!! 9 from MarylandRecommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Wow, what a great review and what wonderful people you are. We try so had to make everything as good as we can for each and every family. Vacations are such an important thing in life and it truly warms my heart when someone is kind enough to take time from there busy hectic schedules to leave us an unsolicited review. Thank you so much, and we investigating the pots and pans as we speak!

House looks quite inviting, however don't be fooled...First day we arrived we noticed that there several light bulbs burned out, lamps not hooked up to the light switches, broken furniture, broken electronics, torn up pool table, and a grill that was left on leaking gas. In informing the mangement about the issues she sent a handy man who both the manager and the handy man both acted as if there was nothing wrong and basically called me a liar about the issues listed above. Then on the second day the pool was draining water that we had to call a second time within 2 days of staying in the home. Then we find roaches. When trying to inform the manager about the infestation I was told that it was no big deal because it was Florida. When asking for a partial refund because of the inconvience I was told that I was trying to scam her. DO NOT STAY HERE THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND DON"T CARE ABOUT THE ISSUES THAT MAKE THIS PLACE RIDICULOUS!!!Owner response: Such a shame but every now and then you get somebody who just wants money and tries to intimidate. I started in the vacation rental business on a hope and a prayer and it has been such a wonderful experience, doing business with so many excellent people has been more than I ever expected. We have many very distinguished guests and repeat customers and we are thankful for each and every one. *Note*Two weeks before this "gentleman" left this review, we have another totally unsolicited review that states how happy the family was with our home.

My husband and I stayed here with our two daughters and families. It was fantastic. We had everything we needed. The house was so clean. The game room was great. The pools were so much fun. The written guide you have was such a great help when we decided to eat out. The instructions were nice for the equipment in house. Our whole family had such a good time. Playlinda Beach was close and we all enjoyed it. We also drove to Orlando several times, not a bad drive at all. We made trips to Cocoa Beach also.We went to Christmas and rode the Airboats at Midway. Thank you so much for making it possible for the whole family to spend time together in such a great house. The pictures were accurate. The house is so nice.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

the owner of this property is awesome ... we arrived on Saturday and Sunday we were having a BBQ with a lot of people to feed ... the grill would not fire up and it could not be fixed ... within an hour a brand new grill was supplied !! ... Location,Location, Location ... this house is the right proximity to the beach and the theme parks ... some wanted to go to the beach every day and others wanted to do the theme parks ... at the end of the day, after the last meal was eaten and the kitchen was cleaned, the hot tub was a favorite for most ... plenty of space so that your guest were not crowded, a swimming pool and hot tub are nice features to have but i have to say that the game room on the bottom level is what sealed the deal for my choice of which home to rent ... some would say that i have peter pan syndrome cause i love the games and especially the juke box ... this house has it all ... a lot of rentals have a pool/hot tub, so if you are a kid at heart, or have kids, i highly recommend this house to rent ... i would love to stay here again when Florida is the designated place for my siblings and i to get together again ... next year, it's ColoradoRecommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing.

We stayed in this home in September, 2010 for one week. When we decided to return for two weeks to the Space Coast area of Florida, we looked closely at a few other houses, but decided to return to this home. That was the best decision; we had a perfect vacation made possible by our "home away from home." The house sits up on a hill in an attractive and safe neighborhood. The listing description is accurate about the layout, and the pictures show how uncluttered the rooms are - just the right amount of decorations. The game room downstairs provides hours of fun with the pinball machine, pool table and darts. Denise added a Wii to the living room; all of us (3 adults and two kids ages 4 and 7) had a great time playing games. But perhaps the best thing about the house is in the backyard - the pools! The kidney shaped pool is fantastic, and nicely deep on one end. We paid a little extra to adjust the temp in the large hot tub, and it felt great in the evening. My son did lots of grilling - marvelous to enjoy dinner on the patio outside listening to all the birds. We saw many northern cardinals by the house - love their song. It was not our plan to do the Orlando attractions, however if you want to, the interstates are easy and fast. We spent our time at Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island, Playalinda Beach (parking area #13 was our favorite) and various Adventure Golf sites in east Orlando and Daytona Beach. If you have kids - or just enjoy mini-golf, check out Congo River, Pirate's Cove, Pirate's Island and Hawaiian Falls. We have nothing like these sites in Seattle - so much fun! I cannot describe how beautiful Playalinda Beach is - so pristine and not crowded. It's a must see. Other than that, we relaxed at home. Our favorite restaurant in Titusville is Dixie Crossroads - we went 3 times in 2 weeks! Absolutely delicious seafood - the fritters they bring you when you sit down are divine - and the website has a coupon for free Krabby Bites. In Daytona Beach Shores a must do is Our Deck Down Under. It's on the river and the open design is wonderful. Both these restaurants have good service, great food and are quite reasonable. Not only would we recommend this home to our dearest friends or family, we're considering going back every year! Denise is a peach to work with, and her goal is for you, too, to have the perfect vacation that we enjoyed. To quote my daughter-in-law, "this was the best vacation ever!"Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

THE HOUSE HAS A VERY NICE POOL AREA WITH PROBABLY THE LARGEST HOT TUB I HAVE SEEN. THE BASEMENT GAME ROOM IS A GREAT ADDED FEATURE. WE REALLY ENJOYED PLAYING POOL, PING PONG, AND PIN BALL. THE HOUSE IS LOCATED IN A VERY QUIET RESIDENTIAL AREA. THE LOCAL BEACH DID SEEN FAR THE FIRST TIME WE WENT BECAUSE YOU TRAVEL THROUGH A NATURE RESERVE. HOWEVER IT IS VERY PEACEFUL AND UNCROWDED. ONCE YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING IT REALLY DOES NOT SEEM TO TAKE THAT LONG. WE ALSO WENT TO COCOA BEACH WHICH IS NICE BUT MUCH MORE CROWDED. WE TRAVELED TO DAYTONA ONCE BUT PREFER A BEACH THAT PEOPLE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE ON. OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT HOME FOR A RELAXING VACATION AND THE OWNER WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

This is a very beautiful, clean, comfortable, well maintained home I have ever seen. Very comfortable beds, large rooms, well equipped kitchen, huge jacuzzi AND pool with a large grill under a huge screened porch. The furnishings are perfect. The basement has a pinball machine, pool table, darts, ping pong, nautilus equipment and juke box. Very close to the most remarkable beach in Florida (Playalinda- a must see) which is in a superb nature preserve as well as all Central Florida attractions including the Space Center, Disney World, airboat rides and more than you could imagine. Nearby restaurants include Dixie Crossroads, Kelseys Restaurant, Dennys. Very quiet neighborhood provides a safe walk for the family. Titusville is a quiet well kept secret as opposed to the more commercial, high traffic areas such as Cocoa Beach and Orlando, but still a close drive and a more welcome return home. Management and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Do not miss the opportunity to stay at this pet friendly, clean, relaxing home. Can't think of anything that was overlooked. I know I will be back at every opportunity I can find!!!! Thank you Denise and Karen!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Your so sweet! Thank you so much for all those kind words. You were great and we would love to have you back anytime. Denise

The things that I liked; The house itself was great, large, clean, tastfully decorated, not too much clutter. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Pools were great. Loved the game room. The things that I didn't like; The location was far away from everything. After driving from Ohio (about 15 hours) I really didn't want to have to travel long distances to enjoy any of the local activities. The nearest beach is not 7 miles away, it's in Cocoa about 25 miles away, and disney is a good hour to an hour and half away. There is absolutely nothing to do in Titusville so you have to drive to either Cocoa or Orlando if you plan on any type of tourist shopping or fun things to do.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Gee guys, I feel I failed you some how. Even though the info is on our website, I should have made sure you knew the local beach is called Playalinda, and it is about a 10 min drive through the wild life refuge, (which has drive through, and walk about trails, that are very popular with nature lovers of all types). Alligator alley is always a hit with the kids because you can see these prehistoric beasts in the wild, and from the safety of your car. The beach is one of the few left in the state that is still pure, and has the natural beauty it had 1000 years ago. It is located on Canaveral National Seashore and is absolutely beautiful, and I am so sorry you missed it. Next we are located close to the freeway and only 40 minutes due east of the orlando international airport. Disney is 23 miles from the same airport, all freeway. Our niche or very specialized commodity, is that we offer the closest beach to Disney, Nature, Peace and Relaxation, but that is the first thing we address is our opening statement that starts like this ... If you like crowds this is not the spot for you!

Playalinda Beach at Canaveral National Seashore is the most pristine and unique beach my family has ever visited. We drove through the nature preserve first; then stopped at the nature center and on to beach #8. The beach was steps from our car and the view was breath-taking! We had a private picnic on the sand, enjoyed the sound of the surf, and played in the waves. It's true, if you want crowds this place is not for you.Did you find this review helpful? I stayed at this home in September, 2010 with my son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons, ages 5 and 2. We loved this house! Not a bad drive from Orlando at all. Lots of space, great frunishings, secure neighborhood and the best pool EVER! The lsiting descibed the house and ammenities accurately. It was clean and well maintained. The pool area is coverd with a high net to keep bugs out, but it does not detract from the ambiance. The game room provided fun, too. We chose Titusville due to it's close proximity to Kennedy Space Center. We enjoyed three days at KSC, hiked Merritt Island Nature Preserve and also relaxed at Cocoa Beach. The vacation home & pool was the perfect break for exhausted kids - and adults! We had a fantastic time in Florida, and want to return. It was fun to show the grandkids flora and fauna so different from our home in the Pacific Northwest. We would want to stay in this home if available. The owner/manager repsonded quickly to concerns and attempted to resolve them. There was an issue with the air conditioning and the owners tried their best to get it taken care of quickly. We would not hesitate to stay here again. It set a high bar for vacation homes for us!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: WOW Thanks So Much!

We really enjoyed this home. We had 3 teenage girls with us and this house met our needs. We travelled to cocoa beach and orlando which were both easily accessible. Titusville is also the perfect spot to watch the space shuttle launch which we were able to do. There is plenty to do locally with the nature preserves nearby. We saw alligators and armadillos just driving down the road. There local beach is part of the cavanaveral national seashore and was absolutely beautiful and not crowded. All in all we were very pleased with this rental. The pool area is very relaxing. And the neighborhood is quiet. My husband and I walked almost every day and felt very safe.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The listing for this property is very accurate. Having three bathrooms was a great conveneince. The place is very clean. The owners were very responsive to all our needs. This would be great for a family visiting the area or for business visits too, as the cost of two hotel rooms equals the rent for the home. It is only 30 minutes from Orlando. The kitchen is well equiped and the furniture is very comfortable. The pool table, weight equipment, and dart board are great bonuses and are in a basement area were any noise is isolated. The flat screen TV's (3) allow for everyone to enjoy their own entertainment, and the screen patio/pool area with the grill makes for perfect outdoor living. I know that I'll be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.
