Salmon, smoked salmon, and some salmon fishing!
Salmon, smoked salmon, and some salmon fishing!
What an unbelievable weekend! Not only was the salmon fishing off the rocky beach absolutely phenomenal, (we caught 4 fish total in 5 hours, one 18 pound King Salmon at that), Jim the owner and his son smoked our whole catch of the day for us free of charge, that way we could take home the fish and enjoy it for months to come! It was such a wonderful weekend we had at the house, with beautiful sunsets, fires made in the fireplace with some s'mores, experienced fishermen to chat with outside at the campsite and make friends with! My husband and our two dogs stayed here for two nights as a first wedding celebration and had a great time at the house! Romantic but not too secluded, the house seems like it has been remodeled/updated recently, with a huge fridge and cook's stove, and all the amenities you need (board games, cooking spices, fireplace and wood, kayaks, etc)! The views from the house and pation area, and the atmosphere in general, are top notch - especially after a full day of fishing at the mouth of the lake, just a relaxing place to be at by the end of the day! Would recommend for large and small groups/families alike, fishermen and nature lovers would all enjoy!

Great Fishing and lodge
Great Fishing and lodge
We just stayed here a night, but we absolutely loved it! The lodge is amazing, the owners cooked fish for us, and really made us feel welcome. The rooms are great and comfy, the view outside is beautiful. My husband even got to go fishing and caught a beautiful Steele-head on the river with the owners. Thank you sooo much. We will 100% come back.

We stayed here for a wedding with a party of 10. Even though we had a lot of people coming and going throughout the 3 days we were there, Jim was very accommodating and open to all our needs. He took a small group on a fishing trip and they were successful and happy with the experience. We didn't get a chance, but there are 2 sea kayaks available for cruising around the estuary. It looks to be a great place for an outdoor adventure vacation. It has all a traveler needs to set up housekeeping, it is clean and comfortable. We undoubtedly will return to the area and, hopefully, this lodge. Highly recommended!
