My partner and I (I'm American; he's Barbadian) are so taken with the paradise that is Barbados that we purchased three beautiful seaside condos on Barbados' south coast. We live in one and rent out the other two. All are in St Lawrence Beach Condos in St Lawrence Gap, Barbados.

Over time, I've come to represent a number of condo owners at St Lawrence Beach Condos and so if ours are booked, please inquire about another in the same building.

We are in the heart of the action area of the famous St. Lawrence Gap ("gap" means street) and right at the edge of the gorgeous clear aqua sea.

We offer our rental at exceptional value; it's beautifully appointed and well-equipped for families, couples, and singles who wish to visit and enjoy a holiday that's action-packed or quiet and serene.

Barbados has more repeat visitors than any of the Caribbean islands and, according to the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO), 34% of all arrivals to Barbados are repeat visitors.

It's easy to see why: The climate averages ideal temperatures in the winter of 75-82 degrees Farenheit and in summer a warmer but still lovely 88-92. Gentle tradewinds from the sea keep us cool and we rarely turn on the air-conditioning, although it's available throughout our unit. People are friendly, the sea is crystal clear, and the rum fantastic. A perfect holiday getaway.

Funny how a transplant sings the praises of a place loudest.

That's me. I started visiting Barbados in 2007; I moved to Barbados in January of 2008; and I married my Bajan (local word for "Barbadian") sweetheart in January of 2009.

I so much loved awakening to the stunning, sparkling Caribbean Sea that I bought a second unit in our building, St Lawrence Beach Condominiums, to let as a holiday rental - and am now buying a second holiday rental in the building. I also represent other owners' places in the building.

The value I can offer guests is outstanding: A stunning and expansive sea view from beautiful apartments, beautiful small white beach, and a location in the heart of the lively and famous St Lawrence Gap.

    • My stay in the beautiful apartment in Christ Church, Barbados could not have been more lovely. The apartment, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, is located in a secure, well-maintained and well-located part of Christ Church. The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen, living room/dining room combination and a wonderful balcony facing the sea. The feeling of warmth and luxurious pleasure engulfs you as you walk in. Located in an area of Christ Church called the Gap, the apartment is in the heart of the city’s authentic area of entertainment and within walking distance of the islands most fabulous restaurants. The apartment literally sits on the beach and the pounding of the waves waffling through the open windows. A lovely pool sits on the deck overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Needless to say, I loved the apartment and the building. The location is perfect for a beach vacation as well as authentic eating and entertainment facilities, all within a walking distance. I found the island a spectacular environment with the people friendly, helpful, and completely accepting. My only hesitation in providing this brief testimonial about my stay is that I will now have to fight to get a spot on the calendar in the coming year. May all who stay there be as blessed with the relaxation and fun as I was and return often to share this special place.
