I've become addicted to technology. So a weekend away to Coker Creek turned out to be a great escape to my digital dependency. The description of the property is accurate. You will exit the highway, merge from a four-lane to a two lane to a single lane to a gravel road. You will exit the gravel road and forge through a mountain stream to enter seclusion, solace, and peace. However - you won't leave any of the comforts of home - it's all there minus cell service and high-speed Internet service. We'd recommend bringing your groceries in as all we were able to find was a Save-A-Lot. The cabin is quaint and cozy. We enjoyed leaving the beeps and dings for the sounds of birds singing, trees swaying, and water roaring (down on the Ocoee River - about a 40 minute drive away.) There is plenty to do and see - from gold panning, whitewater rafting, hiking or just napping. It's a good place to get away and get back to God's playground.

Ironically, we have been trying to get a Hi-speed Internet connection to the cabin for almost 3 years, but keep getting told it is outside the current range. Its good to know that low-tech is still appreciated, and that real R&R will never go out of style.

This is a great place if you want to get away from it all. Very quiet and peaceful. My husband didn't care for it much, though. He felt the price we paid was too much for the cabin. We have stayed in many cabins for that price and less that were much nicer. We had a motorcycle and managed okay,but would not advise this as a good option if you are on a motorcycle.

I stayed in this cabin in February, 2008. It was one of my most cherished memories. The hot tub was great, the cabin was warm and cozy. The scenery was beautiful and the drive in was interesting. It was fun fording the creek on the way in. I wish we could have stayed longer. BD

Mr. Craig, We had a lovely weekend at Cupid's Cove. Tina connected with us late in the day on Friday and she was very helpful. We rarely have the opportunity for a "couples getway" (we have four kids); so Tina's ability to accomodate our last minute request was certainly appreciated! My grandson Jake and I spend three peaceful nights at Cupid's Cove last week! What a pretty setting for a cabin! We thoroughly enjoyed the activities in the surrounding area. The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The screened porch was especially nice in the evening since the insects are so very active this time of year. I'd recommend your cabin to any couple wanting to get away from it all!

My husband and I were very pleased with Cupid's Cove! We always try to come to Tellico each spring to go trout fishing. Normally we camp one night, but we were both very satisfied not camping this year. This cabin made it very much worth not camping. We were delighted that we could still build a fire (as we do when we camp) and sleeping in a comfy bed helped make the decision to come here again for our next trout adventure. The cabin was well kept and extremely clean. Also, my husband found this place on the Net, and I made our reservations with ease.

We are very pleased with our experience here. I made the reservation from Iraq as a getaway for my wife and I. It is truly a perfect setting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We enjoyed window shopping in Tellico Plains and the Cherohala Skyway. P.s., It's good to be home!

We really enjoyed spending our 10th anniversary here. The cabin is great. We loved hiking Bald River and the falls are magnificent. Lost Sea was another favorite. The style, ambience and amenities of Cupid's Cove are great! (As parents of adult children and grandchildren, I would prefer another name for the cabin . . . I do feel a might uncomfortable telling them that Mom and Dad spent a weekend in a place called Cupid's Cove.) As others have written, the beauty and majesty of this area point to the greatness of God the Creator. May others see this in the creation and give praise to God for it.

This place is great! A complete stress free week which was much needed by both . . . So much to see and do around here. My favorite shop here is Seven Sisters - great gifts (hand made) honey of all flavors, hand made wooden boxes of all sizes, jewelry & gifts. Kathy (sic) and her husband are very funny and informative of the area. Really enjoyed visiting them (twice). I only hope that everyone that stays here enjoys it half as much as Tom (from NYC) abd I (from Beaumont TX) have. This place will always be special to us.

Our stay at Cupid's Cove was a blessing for us. With 4 teenagers and 4 older children, our home, jobs, and ministry to take care of, it's nice to get away by ourselves . . . We hope to return someday - maybe bring a couple of kids with us!

This was such a treat! What a charming place! Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. I can't wait until we can come here again. Now for some of the more interesting aspects of our vacation. On Day One, after scenic Bald River Falls (very nice) and the fish hatchery, we came back here only to find that we couldn't go back to the cabin because one of the locals decided to get liquored up and drive his company vehicle which he promptly wrecked. Does Mr. LawBiding Citizen wait until the police show? Noooooo! He decides to go get his 30-06 rifle and a bunch of ammo from his house (somewhere up 610 here) and go into the woods to play Rambo! For two hours he was firing his rifle while almost 30 police officers armed with all kinds of weapons start all their search. Well they found him after a bit, passed out and promptly arrested him. Talked with Mr. Gentry (CC manager) later that evening and were informed that there was no extra charge for the excitement . . .

We had a wonderful time staying here. We got to relax and sleep in! :) It's so peacful and quiet here. We did get to do a couple of fun things. The Lost Sea was really interesting and amazing. Went to the Skyway and saw all the beautiful scenery and the falls, and people say all this just happened by chance? Only God can create such beautiful and intricate things.

Our stay at Cupid's Cove was very relaxing. The only critters we saw were a couple of stick bugs. We didn't do any sight-seeing . . . just relaxation. Relaxed in the hot tub and gazed at the stars . . . AAAHHH. I would have to say that God's majestic power is AWESOME and visiting here just proved it. This was our 3rd trip to Cupid's Cove and we loved it as much as the first visit. This has become our favorite spot in the woods to escape and relax! It rained the entire weekend but we did not care. We were just happy to get away from Corp. America and Atlanta traffic. We will be back again.

Cupid's Cove was very rustic and "woodsey" just like I expected. There were lots of critters around the cabin that just popped up to say Hello. We liked it so much here that we put a deposit on a piece of land here in Coker Creek... can't wait to build our own cabin on our land!

Been here for a week. We had a great time. We absolutely loved the cabin. Checked out quite a few sites during our stay. Bald River Fals had to have been the best. Drove up to Gatlinburg. Was a nice place to see with Ripley's Aquarium. The Skyway is an awesome view of the Mountains. One other site that was exquisite is the Conasauga Falls. Definitely would have to see that again. That is an absolute must for anyone who comes to Cupid's Cove. We hope to return back again. Thanks.

This weekend has been wonderful. The cabin was so great. Well equipped and decorated. We love it!! We did nothing but chill out and and relax, however, we did go to the Falls, Buck Bald (awesome)and the Lost Sea attraction. We wil lbe coming back because it was so enjoyable and nothing went wrong!
