Well located, but overpriced, un-air-conditioned, and dirty. Throw rugs were filthy. Some appliances didn't work. Cupboards and closets overflowing with clutter - broken boogie boards, broken phones, etc. Old beds, and too much giant furniture in the 2nd bedroom to offer any usable space. Bath and shower undersized. Minimal sliver of ocean view. Spent first three weeks of our vacation repairing or replacing light bulbs, batteries, faulty appliances, and buying boards to prop up sagging mattresses. Had to go to Lowe's for landlady to get estimates to replace rusty, non-locking screen door. All of which was lost beach time.

Owner response: Throw rugs were new and appliances all worked. The Microwave fan did breakdown and was replaced within 24 hours. There is only one phone in the unit for local calls and to open the entry security gate for guests. Verizon is best reception in the unit. National calling is approved. This tenant wanted international calling which was declined by Landlord and is blocked on the phone. (This tenant called Greece daily/weekly and wanted that service to continue). Tenant had untrained (not so medium sized, more on the large size.) young dog was difficult to be contained kept busting through the screen door and getting out and the tenant was responsible for its replacement as a result and they wanted it to lock. Everything was in working order when they moved in and any and all replacements (a lightbulb that burned out) was taken care of within 24 hours. The beds are replaced periodically and there has never been a complaint before in this regard. The unit was remodeled in the past 4 years and is a clean, comfortable and cozy beach condo vacation rental. 80% of the tenants return for a second, third or repeated annual stay because they feel like at home there. It is not the Four Seasons quality ..but a great clean beach condo in a gated community on the sand with underground parking, jacuzzi, granite counters, Stainless Steel appliances and equipped for all your needs with a Washer-dryer in the unit. The view is from the balcony out the living room as shown in the picture. It is not on the boardwalk, but just to the side of it. Not the boom-de boom all night noise from the boardwalk car stereos that are directly on the street facing the beach. More pictures are available upon request. Owner plans to retire in unit keeps it in tiptop condition. This is disgruntled tenant writing a bad review. It was an unpleasant relationship for Landlord and tenant. We hope you will look at the other positive reviews regarding this unit. Current tenant has extended their stay and booked for next year also for up to 3 months. They love it. Thank you.
Its all about location ... location ...location, right on the beach for a great price. The unit has everything you need, is very clean and well maintained. The beautiful owner is very friendly and helpful. It's hard to beat watching the sun set over the ocean from your balcony. This is our second visit and we hope to have many more.

Having used VRBO many times before I was very pleased. The listing description was accurate. The property was clean and and well maintained. This is a friendly property and I felt safe in this gated community. I always look for a single floor condo or home with a walk in shower and this was just what I was looking for. The beach is just down a few steps and I found everything one could think of to use on the beach in the closet, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards and so much more. You can walk to just about everything or take the train. The Thursday Farmers Market was wonderful and I was able to buy just about everything I needed including fresh fish. Favorite restaurant The Lighthouse Oyster Grill. Oceanside is beautiful, friendly and relaxing. I'm already going back for a few days to visit friends I met and soak up some sun. I only rated this property as good because in winter the balcony only gets a little sun late in the day. But it was great for the beautiful sunsets. I would rent this condo again.
