It is a two day sail to Ocracoke Island and a half day sail to Manteo Island Waterfront and Festival Park. For those without a boat, you can drive to Manteo via causeway or visit Ocracoke via ferry boat.
Some of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast are a short drive away. The Kitty Hawk Right Brothers Memorial Park and Museum is within five miles and there are four lighthouses within an hours drive or less (including Hatteras Lighthouse). Wild horses roam the beaches north of its location and Jockey Ridge Park is a short distance away and contains the largest natural dunes on the Outer Banks, as well as opportunities for hang gliding and kite flying.
The huge decks, private pool and hot tub provide unobstructed views of the water, and two protected deep water slips are available for use on the harbor side, along with a boat ramp to launch your boat if needed.
