Many restaurants, shops and beaches are within walking distance.
Any time of the year is a great month to be in Morro Bay. Our weather is mild with temperatures ranging in the mid 60's to mid 70's and 80's.
The city hosts a number of special events you will not want to miss. Enjoy the International Surf Competition, the Lighted Boat Parade, the annual Valentine Day Parade and the Harbor Festival, to name a few. On Saturdays there is a local Farmers Market right downtown where you can leisurely shop for locally grown produce and other items to take back to your vacation home.
The area has many well know wineries to visit for wine tasting and special events. Hearst Castle is a must see and only 30 minutes away. It is considered to be an area with one of the most breathtaking scenery in California.
