I met my long time friends from Japan whom we shared past experiences many times in Kona. They were impressed with the condo and the location. The sister in law and her daughter were first timers travelling outside of Japan and had blinders on when it came to scenery. They were only interested in buying gifts for their friends and neighbors. They would spend hours in supermarkets and the Queen stores. One day we went to Hilo and the black sand beach to see the turtles and that was the only time they saw the ocean. It was a shame not enjoying the weather and the amenities that the place offered. I went on my own to enjoy the area. It seems silly to fly such a distance to just go shopping. Anyway your rice cooker was very handy although eating rice every meal was a little too much for me. The location was ideal for shopping. Of the various condos I've stayed in, yours is the most convenient. I Hope I shall look forward to staying there again. Mahalo,

We were very impressed with this property and would recommend it to anyone looking to include golf and beach activities in their itinerary. We golfed a total of 16 rounds at the Beach and Kings courses during our month stay. We estimated we saved at least $650 by utilizing the owners special membership. The condo was beautifully decorated, very clean and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and dining on the lanai. The memory foam mattress in the master bedroom was heavenly! We will be back.

Tammy was a pleasure to work with and communicated very well and prompt. The rates were excellent for property! The condo is fully equipped and nicely decorated. We could not have asked for a better location. Shopping and affordable dining just a walk across the street. Starbucks was very close by for my morning coffee. :-) We would definitely stay here again! The accomodations felt like home and had everything needed and more.

This was my second trip to the Big Island and my second time staying at Waikoloa Beach Resort. I had stayed in a different suite the last time I came and loved the area. Tammy was a pleasure to communicate with during our search and booking period. When we arrived at the condo, we were amazed to find that the condo itself and the lanai were even more beautiful than the pictures posted here. The outdoor kitchen area with the BBQ was wonderful and we used it nearly every night. The suite was well furnished and very well maintained. It was a wonderful place to "come home to" at the end of each day and relax when the sun went down. Tammy was fantastic at responding promptly to any questions we had throughout our entire stay. I considered the suite to be quite central on the island itself, being close to Saddle Road which will take you to the observatory and Hilo, but also only being about 25 minutes away from Kona and only minutes away from a handful of beautiful beaches. The convenience of having a grocery store right across the street was a huge bonus and it was fun to wander the shops at night. We really enjoyed the 4 boogie boards, that pretty much lived in the trunk of our car throughout our stay. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone planning a stay on the Big Island and am looking forward to staying here again, sooner than later!

The golf perks that come with this condo saves us so much money. We are avid golfers and played almost everyday on either the Kings' Course or the Beach Course. The clubs that come with the condo are in excellent shape! We especailly loved the Nike Sasquatches that are stored at the clubhouse. I will be replacing my clubs at home with a set like those asap. As always, the condo had everything we needed and then some! Each time we visit we find there have been new additions to the condo in some way. Either new decorations, new kitchen amenities or new linens. This is our fourth time returning to Bill and Tammy's condo we are in the process of booking our fifth trip right now!!. Thank you Bill and Tammy for everything. You have been wonderful to work with.

My husband and I stayed at Bill and Tammy's condo for seven nights and it was wonderful. The condo was exactly as described and has everything you could want to use on the Big Island including a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards, golf clubs, etc.. The golf discount they offer is also wonderful. I would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to the Big Island. Also Bill and Tammy were both very easy to work with and were always very prompt to return e-mails. I would highly recommend this condo!!!

Comfortable Beauty in Paradise

What a wonderful, beautiful and comfortable place to call "home" for our Big Island adventure! All you need is your toothbrush, clothes and stop at Safeway[across the way]. We ate "in" most of our stay and all meals on beautiful lanai. Very quiet and quite private. On ground level with wonderful garden and petroglyph trail right off lanai. Highly recommend the Blue Dragon in Kawaihae for great food and music for that night out. For adventure - zip lining with Big Island Eco Adventures [ask for Adam and Brandon] Kohala, Kamanu tours for swimming with dolphins and manta rays. Tammy was so great to work with, not a realtor but a friend. Look forward to returning next year to this Big Island home away from home. Mahalo!

My family and I stayed at a different Waikoloa Beach Villa condo over the New Years holiday and we though it couldn't get any better......However...The Burgemeister's condo exceeded our expectations! The unit had snorkel gear, beach gear, boogie boards....everything you would need for a perfect vacation on the Big Island! The condo itself is nicely appointed with beautiful furniture and even a huge lcd tv (good for winding down after the sun has set)! Thanks for a wonderful time!

My husband, son and I had the most perfect vacation while staying in this condo. Tammy and Bill have thought of every minute detail…everything a guest could ever need. It was all there, tv’s, boogie boards, beach equipment, kitchen necessities, the (amazing) memory foam bed, and more! The photos of the condo are beautiful, but when you are actually there in person, it’s even more stunning and very clean. We loved the quiet environment, gated community and feeling of seclusion, like we were there all by ourselves. Also, Tammy is amazing! She is so easy to talk with, responds to email quickly and is very helpful and informative. If you rent this condo for your vacation, you are most likely to have an all-around fantastic experience!! The condo is very new and is complete with all amenities one would need for a wonderful beach / golf vacation. Tammy's communication is impeccable and booking and paying for the condo is easy and fair. The condo is very nicely decorated with island furniture, in fact I thought the unit was the builder's sales unit. It is in an excellent location with both the Queen and King shops just steps away. After searching for places to stay on the Big Island I found this particular listing. Once I talked with Tammy, I knew that this was the place to stay. Her condo will always remain memorable for my now Fiance since I proposed to her during our vacation. Walking into the condo we were already impressed by how clean and beautiful the layout was, and after finding three Kona beers in the fridge left over from the previous guest, we knew it was meant to be. One of our favorite things about the condo was the patio and bbq area. It had an amazing view from where we sat and comfy chairs to sit in while we ate our dinner. The area was very quiet and peaceful, we almost felt like we were the only people staying there most of the time! When we come back to the island we will definitely choose this condo for our stay, and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the Big Island.

Golf & Snorkel Vacation

The four of us had a very nice time at your Waikoloa Beach condo. The security is excellent with the gated entrance. While the garage with all of the snorkel, beach chairs and boogie boards is a real bonus. We had several BBQ's on the patio. The wireless internet was real handy. Plus the supplied golf clubs were good quality and we used the Beach/Kings course condo discount for 4 rounds of golf. We are looking forward to next year.

Spent a week relaxing in this wonderful condo. The photos give you an idea of how nicely decorated the place is but it's even more impressive in person! Upon arrival it was clean and well maintained. The built in outdoor BBQ was a plus. As much as I love to eat out, it was nice to have the option to BBQ and eat at "home". The kitchen was well equipped and also had spices for our use which came in handy. Having a garage to park our car in was extremely nice since the Hawaiian sun can get those car interiors HOT! The complex is directly across the street from the Queens and Kings Shopping Centers so it was VERY convenient for us to grab some groceries, Starbuck's coffee, meals or souvenirs. We also got in a round of golf, using the owners clubs and discounted rates, which was fabulous! Everyone at the clubhouse knew the Burgemeisters and treated us well. Tammy is wonderful to work with during the whole reservation process. She is very warm and friendly and made sure all questions and concerns were addressed and answered. She even went out of her way to make sure this trip stayed a surprise for my husband as I was planning this trip for a surprise 60th birthday present. No need to look anywhere else, this is the place to stay! We will definitely stay here anytime we come to the Big Island. Mahalo Tammy =) Mahalo Tammy for everything!

We just got home from our 3 week stay on the Big Island. The condo was all that we expected and the golf discout came in handy....we played 15 times during our stay. Amazing Vacation - The Best Place to Stay!!

We had a wonderful time during our stay on the Big Island. The condo is even better than it looks in the pictures - it was extremely clean, comfortable and stocked with everything you might need. It really was like being at home - including all sorts of kitchen utensils, beach gear, pool toys, etc. The pool at the community was just steps away and most of the time it was like having our own private pool and hot tub. We loved the location in Waikoloa as well - you really could walk to everything you might need - the market shops were so handy for food, shopping and restaurants. In addition to the condo itself, Tammy was so helpful in planning our stay. All the information that she provided was extremely helpful and helped us find good places to shop as well as some great beaches! There is no way we would have found out about all of that without her help - in fact, we would hear from other guests at WBV that had taken years to discover all the tips that we already knew about! If we ever go back to the Big Island, we will absolutely stay here...and for two weeks instead of one!

Everything was in working order with great beds, fully furnished kitchen. A little more up-scale in terms of the interior decorating and furniture. The listing was very accurate in terms of the location and the photos were very accurate of the entire property.We would definitely recommend this property to my friends. The unit could have been cleaner when we moved in. Everything was quite dusty. The owner was very responsive to our needs and questions. My husband, 8 month old baby and I stayed for 4 short days in October 2010. Before our trip, Tammy mailed us info about the Big Island, area restaurants and things to do. We had an excellent stay-- running the gorgeous pathways and trails from the condo, checking out the shops and restaurants across the street, walking to the beach, golfing (using the owner's clubs and discounted rates), swimming in the pool and barbecuing on the lanai. The condo is exactly as pictured, very clean and well-stocked from the kitchen to bathroom to the beach supplies in the garage. We walked nearly everywhere from the condo. It was a very quiet, peaceful location. We had an excellent stay and can't wait to return!

Outstanding Condo with top[-of-the-line ammenities & convenience

Our recent stay at your wonderful condo with our son and his wife and our two grandkids was one of total relaxation and pleasure. The private, quiet, gated community with the beautiful, manicured grounds - a short walk across the street to pick up anything we had forgotten, or some fresh sushi, or some great grass-fed, aged steaks to put on the wonderful outdoor lanai grill, and the great kitchen with the granite countertops and S/S appliances, the convenience of the ground-floor unit with the lanai, grass lawn and great landscaping - I could go on and on! It was so nice to have the beds in the 2nd bedroom made into another king. Our son and daughter-in-law were most appreciative. Thanls for coordinating everything so well, Tammy! We ate all of our meals at the lanai table (except the evening we walked over for dinner at Macaroni Grill), and loved the outdoor grill being right there. We used the boogie boards and snorkling gear, and wonderful beach chairs to take to the absolutely beautiful, little, very private beach called "Mau'u Mae" Beach located on the grounds of Mauna Kea Resort. We left directions to the beach in your "Aloha" binder in the condo. Our son and I thoroughly enjoyed using the great set of clubs you so generously provide to play the two great golf courses and the staff there treated us like we were part of your family. We will definitely be trying to come back there as often as we can!

Your house is great. It served all our needs very well. The location of the house, 1 min walk to Queen's and King's marketplaces, was a big PLUS. These marketplaces have lots of restaurants and shops(grocery and other). Printer came out to be very useful. Beaches in the area were awesome, especially 'Kekaha Kai' and 'Mauna Kea'. Thanks a lot!

All the comforts of home

We just spent a week at the Burgemeister's condo at the Waikoloa Beach Villas. The condo was clean and air-conditioned, the location was great, and the kitchen and bathrooms stocked with everything we needed. We loved the outdoor grill and our kids loved the snorkel equipment and boogie boards. It was nice to play golf at the nearby resort courses - they were easy to get on and the staff was very friendly. They know Tammy and Bill and treated us like part of the family. We took in some of the local demonstrations at the Queens shops during the late afternoon. You really almost don't need a car, you can take shuttles or walk to the major hotels. Of course, we had one and did some stuff in the Kona area (movie, manta ray night snorkel, day snorkel trip) and the drive isn't that far - about 20-40 minutes depending on traffic and 35 mph zones :(. So the location was good for that too. Also fairly close to some nice Kohala beaches if you want to venture from the nearby A-Bay beach which is nice as well. There really wasn't much we'd change with this rental and will recommend it to anyone visiting the Big Island's west coast.

We didn't get to do several things on the island that we had hoped to do, simply because we got too lazy hanging around the pool/beach. So we definitely hope to make a return visit to the big island. This clean and well maintained condo was a perfect "home base" on the consistanly sunny part of the Big Island. Having never been here before we had a lot of exploring to do and the condo and the amenities provided were perfect for us. Besides all of the great "extras" inside the unit we really appreciated having the garage, the beach chairs and snorkeling equipment. It is convinent to shopping, resturants and the beaches. What a WONDERFUL time we had on the BIG ISLAND!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful condo and felt completely at home while we were on vacation. We had our kids (19 & 9 years old) with us and they both enjoyed the condo and everything there was within walking distance. We enjoyed snorkling and boogie boarding with the gear you provide and couldn't get enough of the gorgeous beaches!! The condo grounds are beautiful, and the pool kept us occupied for many hours. Another great stay at the condo, and I simply cannot say enough good things about the condo, or about the owners! They have really gone above and beyond to make sure that their guests have a wonderful vacation experience, both with the amenities at the condo (quality cookware, kitchenware, appliances, comfy beds, nice furnishings, flat screen tvs, stereo, grill, use of garage, etc.) but also to help you enjoy activities away from the condo (beach gear - cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. and the opportunity to play great golf courses at a great rate). The grill on the lanai is awesome, and we used it most every evening to grill fish from the local markets, which not only saved us money (vs. going to a restaurant for an equal quality meal), but was nice on those evenings where we were tired from our adventures and didn't want to go anywhere - other than to nearby A'Bay for the fabulous sunset! The location is perfect for us, and a great home base for exploring and enjoying the island. Our third visit is already planned! Mahalo, Tammy!

During our Hawaii vacation we stayed in different condos on Kauai, Big Island and Maui. Tammy's condo on Big Island was just the best place to stay. There is just everyting you need an you expect form a place to stay. The cond itself was perfectly equiped with all the comfort we were looking about. But the really hightligt we(my son and I) we had when we were opening the garage. There was everything for the perfect beach day like...............! You have to find out yourself. We enjoyed every minute of our 2 week vacation in this beautiful condo. It was very clean, furnished beautifully and very well stocked with everything we needed. We loved having the garage for the car and we made great use of the beach chairs and boogie boards. Tammy was very helpful with planning our trip and the information package she sent us was very useful. We had a wonderful time exploring the island and we can't wait to go back again. Tammy was fantastic to work with on this beautifully decorated condo. The bed was SOOOOO comfortable and was well stocked with everthing you could need. The location was wonderful. We loved the outdoor barbaque and the ground floor walk out on to the private patio. Perfect!!!

I stayed at this unit for two weeks. The unit is very high end with exquisite furnishings and amenities. The owners are so nice it felt like we were renting from a friend. We thoroughly enjoyed the private outdoor lanai area and BBQ. We spent most every evening there. Can't wait to visit again. We will definitely book this unit for the next trip.

This was our 3rd trip to the Big Island, and the absolute best place we have stayed! The condo is beautiful and comfortable, and in a great location. Tammy & Bill are awesome and have really gone out of their way to furnish and equip their condo to make the perfect vacation! There are many extras here to make your stay more enjoyable (beach equipment, well-equipped kitchen, etc.), and the gas grill on the lanai was a huge hit with us! We will not plan a return to the Big Island without a stay at Tammy & Bill's condo. Tammy was so accessible, patient and kind with all of my questions, etc. -- you just won't find a nicer or more helpful owner than her! Mahalo Tammy, and looking forward to returning!

We just returned from this beautiful property.The condo is fully equipped as described. The master bed was especially comfortable. The golf memembership is a great value and the courses are top-notch. Use of the garage for your rental is a bonus.The location of this resort area is excellent,as you can explore all areas of the island easily.This was the best rental we have ever stayed in,without a doubt.

We enjoyed our stay at your condo very much. The location is absolutely perfect. It was so easy to walk across the street to the Queen’s Shops everyday for our paper and Starbucks coffee. We also appreciated the use of the backpack beach chairs and the umbrellas. The most useful thing turned out to be the “Hawaii, Big Island Revealed” guide book we found in a drawer. It helped us find our way around the island and discover several new beaches. All your directions and info on local attractions/restaurants/beaches was greatly appreciated. The complex as a whole is very nice, wonderful landscaping with nicely designed pools. We would definitely choose your condo again for our next visit to the Big Island. Thanks! We spent the last week of August at this condo. The condo is very nice. It is close to shops and you can easily get to the beach. The complex is secure and well maintained. The gas grill is a real plus. We used it several times and saved a great deal of money instead of going out. Tammy goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need.

We stayed in Tammy's condo the first week of July. We have stayed in many condos on the islands and this one was the best by far! The central air was wonderful! The location was perfectly in the middle of the Queen's and King's Shoppes. The beach was a 7 min walk if you cut through the Marriot's lobby. We would stay in this unit again for sure. We just got back from our stay at Tammy's condo and it was wonderful. Tammy is wonderful to work with, she provides so much information, even how to get to Costco and Safeway. The location is perfect, walking distance to the Queens and Kings shopping centers and the Marriott. Just a quick ride to "A" Beach. You may not have an ocean view, but the ammenities of the condo is worth that sacrifice. The use of her golf membership and clubs was a wonderful bonus for us. We hope to come back next year and would love to stay in the condo again.

This condo is beautiful, just as nice as the pictures depict it. You can go across the street and pay two times as much for just a room at the Hilton or Marriott, but why? Having a garage is so nice - keeps your car out of the sun. Using the washer and dryer is nice (you can come home with clean clothes). And if you are a golfer, you can play two of the nicest golf courses for the owners rate ($50 and $75). The owners even let you use their clubs. You are right across the street from the Queens shops and right next door to the Kings shops-general shopping, grocery and restaurants. The owner is very nice and she is very organized and gives you specific directions to all the important places (like Costco from the airport and then to the condo). Feel free to email about anything. Make sure you have one dinner at the Canoe Restaurant at Mauna Lani Resort, a few miles from the condo. Palm trees, beautiful sunsets and good food. Check out the hammerhead shark in their fish pond.

This is a terrific condo in a perfect locale! The accommodations are very comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. We appreciated having a great kitchen so we could save $$ on meals. Probably the most important factor is the owners are great to deal with -- the rental process was smooth and we would definitely recommend booking your next stay with them!

The rates were unbeatable and having clubs available for use was a great perk. We couldn't have asked for a better location to access everything in Waikoloa.
