The aspens and pine trees of the mountains are nearby. There are panoramic views from the Spanish Peaks off the front courtyard to Pikes Peak from the back patio. The big sky views are visible all around you.
In the home, there are maps and guide books to the popular tourist sights as well as the lesser-known Rocky Mountain and desert prairie treasures in southern Colorado. This home offers the VERSATILITY of renting a 3 BEDROOM/2 BATH main floor, a 2 BEDROOM/l LUXURY BATH retreat on the lower level or the ENTIRE 5 BEDROOM/3 BATH home. We rent to only one group at a time.
The 3 bedroom, 2 bath 1380 square foot main floor offers quality living space. You will find the great room, with its open floor plan and access to both the front courtyard and back patio, to be a fabulous place to gather. Prepare a home-cooked meal, order in or enjoy one of the many area restaurants. Local menus are provided for your convenience. The kitchen/dining area provides seating for 10 with more seating at the island counter, in the living room or on the outdoor patios, service for 12, and all the large and small appliances you would expect to find in a quality home. Retreat to the master suite and watch TV or listen to music in surround sound. Sleep soundly on comfortable beds (2 queen, 1 full and 1 full converta sofa)and high quality linens.
The 2 bedroom/1 bath lower level retreat offers a warm, inviting and functional space, including a living area, mini kitchen, library, office area and luxurious bathroom with a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub for two. There is a queen bed in the romantic larger bedroom with a curtained off office area with a converta sofa, for versatile sleeping options. The den/second bedroom offers another converta-sofa as well as a twin bed, along with a TV and large DVD/VHS library.
If you have a larger group and prefer to rent the entire 5 bedroom/ 3 bath home, the two levels are designed to flow together to meet the needs of extended families or other groups.
The OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES offer not only fun, but also places of solitude, room to mingle and plenty of seating. Relax in the gardens of the front courtyard with your morning coffee, while watching the birds and listening to the fountain. Play a round of miniature golf, shoot some hoops or compete in a game of tetherball. Enjoy barbequing on the back patio while soaking in the view of Pikes Peak. Watch the sun set over the mountains while lying in the hammock, or light the fire pit and socialize with family or friends into the evening. We provide a high efficiency WASHER AND DRYER on the main level and housekeeping every two weeks (for stays longer than 30 days) for your convenience. Daily housekeeping is also available for a fee.

Mary--Where do I even begin to express my gratitude for this past 5 days in your home. It is all you promise it to be--a home away from home. Being able to come back to "a home" after our daily sight-seeing trips made the trips all the more worthwhile. Much more relaxing than being confined to a hotel room with a bed, TV, and maybe a balcony...But here we have room to stretch (in both senses of the word)--as I did my yoga every morning with the sunrise--and room to relax and have fun-inside and outside. You've taken great effort to attend to the small details that make this a home for those who come to stay. We'll be back!
