We stayed in one of the three suites on this property for one month. It could not have been better. The location is in a part of France which has wonderful history, food and wine. The suites themselves have been wonderfully updated and are comfortable, quiet and easy to use. The owners, Monique and Jacques, could not have been better. They are always available, with helpful hints and advice and the occasional bottle of wine!! We got to know them well and enjoyed their company. You can tell that what they do is a labour of love. The estate has come down in the family for many generations and at one time included many hectares of vineyards, a mansion and all of the out-buildings. Monique and Jacque have taken the old sheep barn and converted it into their own home, a warm and welcoming place. The apartments which were used by the workers have all been upgraded. Ours had its own fireplace, kitchen and dining area, and three bedrooms (we only needed one, but each bedroom has its own ensuite). We did not have a car, chosing to get around by bike and public transport. This is easily possible, but a car provides more range in what is wonderful territory in France. Close to the Mediterranean, vineyards, historical chateaux, churches and abbeys, the cities of Narbonne, Beziers and Montpellier, and the Canal de Midi. We even did a trip to visit the Roquefort cheese caves. You will be busy!!

Myself and three friends recently returned from six weeks in France. One of the places that we stayed was this wonderful villa. I can not say enough good things both about the property and also the owners, Monique and Jacques. They were very attentive to the needs of their guests. Jacques gave us some wonderful ideas for day trips from the Pezenas area. We stayed for 10 days but I could easily have stayed longer. I hope to be able to return someday and I will certainly recommend the property to family and friends. Jeri

A slice of Languedoc paradise

Monique and Jacques have lovingly restored an old family property. The buildings used to be the farm structures that housed horses and vineyard workers. Gone are the utilitarian rooms. They now have 3 fully functional apartments and a lovely pool. We were welcomed with local wine, fresh bread on our first morning and apricot jam "fait à la maison". It could not get better. We plan to be back!
