This is our private lake house that has been completely renovated last year. This is the first time we are offering it to be rented and used by others. It is approx. 1500 sf. It includes tile flooring through out all common areas and bathrooms-- with newly carpeted bedrooms. This house also includes a state of the art water syestem that provides soft clean dependable water, which at the lake is something hard to come by. At the lake of the Ozarks you get what you pay for and we believe it would be hard to find a house as nice, clean, with good water, and in a location as good as this one.
We offer a totally new kitchen with an eat in bar. All new appliances are included with everything you need for your food preparation.
The main room is vaulted with knotty pine wood on the walls and ceilings, w/ cedar beams above. The vaulted living room includes a stone fireplace. There are 2 patio doors overlooking the lake from the living room. One patio door leads to a screened porch awaiting you with outdoor furniture to sit 5. Along with the screen porch there is a deck w/ a charcoal and gas grill accessible from the screen porch or patio door from the living room. Both the deck and screen porch overlook the beautiful "quiet" cove.
Bedroom #1 downstairs includes 1-queen bed your own private full bathroom.
bedrooms #2 and #3 are upstairs. #2 includes 1-king size bed and adjoins the Jack and Jill full bathroom This bedroom also includes its own tv. #3 includes 1-queen bed and a day bed that converts to a bed the size of a queen bed (great for kids). It also adjoins the Jack and Jill bathroom.
Optional sleeping space: The couch in living room folds out into a queen size bed.
The dock is completely redone--including concrete flooring. There is a swim platform on the dock approx 10'x28' It includes good deep water for swimming or parking your boat. We also offer 4 nice loungers for your enjoyment and a dock ladder. There is a 10x24 boat slip available for renters use at no extra charge. The cove is wide and peaceful. The house sits in back of "Workman's Cove" if looking on the map.
We are approx 1 1/2 miles by road from the world famous "Horny Toad" complex. With many fabulous restaurants, outlet shopping, championship golf, go carts, and the dam is just minutes away.
With the location of our house we don't think you could enjoy the lake anymore from any other location.

Had a great time at a very nice place. Was 95-100 degrees outside but AC worked well. Nice to have a large dock with ladder for swimming. Had 5 adults and an 18 month old and all went well. Plenty of kitchen utensils, etc. Was nice to have a covered, screen porch with ceiling fan. Back yard flat enough to play lawn games. Will go again. My only recommendation is to add wireless internet access as that's a pretty key thing these days (unless you like to get away from it all!).
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My family had never spent more than a weekend at the lake but we spent a week last Summer at this house and the 4 of us really enjoyed it. It's a short, easy walk form the house to the covered and well shaded dock that we spent hours on each day. The rooms and appliances are modern and met our needs for cooking 3 meals a day. The screened in proch is also a plus. Short drive around to the other side of the cove to rent boat or wave runners at Camden on the Lake Resort. We drove the boat and wave runners back into the cove where it was free from the main channel straffic and a great place for the girls to tube. The only traffic is generated from the teenaged kids that attend what appears to be a week long camp location in the top of the cove...no issues though. The Only con is the extremely steep driveway to the house. I ended up parking on the top, on the shoulder of the road.

My wife and I just returned from our second two week vacation staying at this house. Now that the water system has been upgraded the house is amlost perfect. It’s hard to decide our favorate aspect of the house. It’s either the quiet cove location where we swam off the dock daily or the screened in porch where we had our moring coffee and evening cocktails. We will definitely return annually until we have a place of our own at the lake. We highly recommend this house, location and the property owner!

We had a great time here. The cove is quite calm compared to the rest of the lake and traffic is minimal. It's perfect for floating along the dock or just enjoying the view from the patio. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

We just returned from a week-long stay at this home in Horseshoe Bend - it was really beautiful! The home is beautifully updated and has every convenience (except a working washer and dryer, which the owner stated he is correcting very soon as he makes some final improvements). It is located on a quiet cove - perfect for swimming or fishing from the swimming dock - great slip for your boat! Close to everything! We plan to go back next summer!

This is a wonderful house and location to spend a vacation at the lake. We vacation annually the last two weeks of June at the lake and rent a house annually. This house is close to the water and in the back of a large cove. The water off the dock is 13 feet deep and nice and calm. The cove itself is very nice and has very little traffic. The screened in porch is a great place to have a cocktail and relax after a long day on the water. It faces north and is sheltered by numerous trees so doesn?t get excessively hot in the afternoon. The house itself was recently redone and is quite cozy and well appointed. The only items we found to be less than we expected with the house was that the driveway is very steep and the well water has a high mineral (iron) content. Overall we had a great vacation and the house was a major contributing factor. We look forward to returning next year.
Owner response:We just installed a new water syestem that has corrected any water issues that any renter would need to worry about. With the lake the water is very hard, but now is soft water and iron free.
