  My family and I rented this house recently and can't say enough great things about it. The location was the best we have ever had on Galveston beach. Som homes we have stayed at in the past advertise beachfront but are not typically that. This house was the closest to the ocean we have ever been. The interior is nicely done with plenty of space to get around for family fun without being cooped up in your bedrooms as other beta houses we rented have been. Not to mention the giant front deck overlooking the ocean. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the loft as it gave them a "clubhouse" as they called it and us adults some respite from them as well. There was a little sand in the front door area but we are on the beach so no big deal there. All in all agreat home and we cannot wait to return this spring.

  Wow, we loved this house! It's perfectly situated right on the front row in a small little neighborhood called Sea Isle. We absolutely loved it! There were only 8 of us, so we had plenty of elbow room. The layout was open, with the kitchen and breakfast area overlooking the livingroom. There were plenty of windows so you could see right out to the beach. It did look like there had been some work recently, because the house and decks were freshly painted. My husband and son are big sports nuts so it was nice to have that large flatscreen tv in the livingroom so they could still watch their games....men! The neighborhood also had a pool, tennis court and restaurant which was a nice perk. Thanks again for your hospitality!

  This was our second year to go to Galveston. This property looks great from a far but up close it has problems. We had to have someone come and change out all the burnt out wall plugs in the house. A railing fell off the porch as we sat out one evening watching the ocean. That night we heard a crash and found part of the porch had fallen almost going through a window. The counter in the bathroom was not snug to the wall. One of us lost an earring and no one will help us retreave it. We were told that was our problem we would have to hire a repair man. DON'T TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TOO DANGEROUS We are coming back to Galveston next summer, have a house booked BUT it won't be this one.

  Owner response: Since you stayed last July (5 months ago) we have made several updates to our property: Painted the exterior of the property, new exterior stairs and deck, new flat screens in bedrooms, small appliances etc. You e-mailed me a few weeks ago asking me to find your earrings, which you had left in the beach house 5 months earlier. If you would have reached out to me sooner, I would have had a better chance of locating them. We normally have excellent reviews at our property, but I am sorry we did not meet your expectations. We do have a handy man on site that could have addressed your issues.

  THis property is as they say "on the beach" We have stayed at beach houses in the past that claimed this but ended up being a row back or so. This is by far the best location we have ever rented on Galveston beach!! The house could use a little love but so do all beach houses in Galveston. We found our winner and will be returning to this house again next year.

  We had a great time in Galveston for our vaction and wanted to thank you for the use of your home. It was a perfect location, away from all of the crowed beaches! We had some friends of ours stay with us and we both have 5 kids. The kids loved being able to walk out the door and right to the beach and we liked that we could sit on the deck and keep a close eye on them. The house has a lot of great updates. The kitchen was great! We also want to give a shout out to Nate's Restaurant which is close by. They have great food! Thanks again for a great family vacation!

  My family and I had a great time at this beach house. This house is front row on the beach which was very convenient!! We enjoyed the evenings of grilling and relaxing on the deck. I recommend this house for a family vacation.

  I want to thank you again for such a wonderful summer vacation. The best thing about this property is the location! Wow, it was so nice for us so to be so close to the beach. As I told you, it was very hard to find a place for my mom to be able to sit on the balcony and watch the grandkids play. So glad that we found your place online. The kids and the men in the house also loved that you had such a nice TV in the livingroom! It was hard to get them off the couch when the games were on. Thanks so much for renting out your home. We truly had an amazing time and we will definitely be back! Also, the complimentary bottle of wine was a great touch! Greg and Barbara

  The house is overall really nice with a great location! The bedrooms are nice and lots of sleeping space. The bad- master bedroom bathroom had such bad sewer gas smells we couldn't open the door without the entire house stinking and we were gagging!! The front bath was nice, but faucets were almost coming out of wall! Couldn't figure out the bad smell in the kitchen until we were leaving and went to load a few glasses into the dishwasher- the bottom was filled with gross water with stuff growing in it- started gagging again! House was also pretty dirty- floors hadn't been swept at all and cob webs/dust everyplace! Cleaning crew should be fired, we cleaned it before we brought all our stuff in!

Last month we did hire a new cleaning staff, since we were continuing to get a few complaints. The dishwasher has since been fixed as well as the masterbath. Fortunately, there have not been any issues since! Have a great summer!

  We just got back from an amazing trip to Galveston! The weather was perfect and the location was superb. The best part of the vacation was being able to walk right out the front door, directly to the ocean. The house was updated w/ all the amenities we have in our own home. We will definitely be back! Tip: There is a great restaurant called West End Marina on the bay side of Sea Isle. It was wonderful!!
